Everything I want is pretty trashy so embarrassing to admit to but what the hell
Would love a box set of all the 70s/80s Stepford movies. The original Katherine Ross version had a DVD many years ago but itโs long out of print. The TV movie sequels are pretty silly but Iโm a sucker for that universe so would love to see them in better quality than the fuzzy YouTube uploads
On The Right Track - silly Gary Coleman comedy from the 80s we watched repeatedly as kids. All of his movies have fallen into obscurity. Maybe there are rights issues with his estate?
Seems Like Old Times - this one has a DVD release but would love an upgraded Bluray with some special features (how about a chicken pepperoni recipe and tutorial?)
Laverne & Shirley complete series but unedited with original music. The current release uses the cut syndication episodes and replaces most of the music. Lots of TV shows on DVD suffer this fate
Double Trouble - cute 80s sitcom with the Sagal twins. Only ran for 2 short seasons so could probably fit on a single disc

The full Metropolitan Opera Centennial Gala.
It was the greatest gathering of opera stars in history. There was an afternoon concert and an evening concert, each with a different group of legendary singers. It was released on videotape and CD, in a highly truncated version. The entire concert has never been commercially released and it's never been on BluRay

I lot of TV shows only got their first season released on DVD because sales ended up being poor and the studios opted not to release further seasons. Malcolm In The Middle must not have sold well enough to release anything other than the first season. Music rights for the show are no doubt very high so sales would have to have been very strong to make the studio invest in further releases

Those are mastered from a 1980s European VHS release and are inferior. They're not worth anyone's time.
Between 2021 and 2024, a series of unofficial (that is, not released by Disney) remastered versions have emerged which are probably the best this film is ever going to get, being as how Disney has completely washed its hands of it. They're hosted at the Internet Archive. From a viewer's standpoint, they're probably better quality than the original film prints minted for theaters in 1946. My only quibble with them is that the definitive remaster was conducted by and at the behest of MAGAts, who appended their own scrolling foreword and epilogue to the film (aside from a little godsmack, their politics are not evident in the scrolling texts, but but are quite heavyhanded in the trailer for the remastered version), but these are easily excised.
Several different sizes/resolutions can be viewed or downloaded here:

I'm a balletomane. I wish Mosfilm would remaster and release some of the ballet films it made in the USSR starring many of the greatest 20th century dancers like Plisetskaya, Ulanova, Liepa, Larionov and others. Some of these are available in extremely degraded form on Youtube; a few others had poor DVD versions available in the US in the 1990s. There's a "Sleeping Beauty" feature film with Yuri Soloviev and Alla Sizova from the early '60s I would love to see.

r3 Some all-region players, though they switch to the right region for DVDs, require that you press a button on your remote to change Blu-Ray regions. For Region A, press the yellow button. For Region B, press the blue button. For Region C, press the red button. In each case, press the button [italic]after you have opened the tray[/italic]. Good luck!

I was about to tell you Iโd pushed the button repeatedly, R142, but I may never have done it with the tray open. Iโll try it and report back.
THANK YOU.

I'd like to see the Netflix reboot of Lost In Space issued on DVD. They did release season one, but there's no plan to put out seasons two and three. :(

Diary got a bluray release from Kino Lorber a few years ago. I wish they could have done something when Carrie Snodgress was still alive to get an interview or commentary from her but at least it finally has a wide release

For some reason, I hate watching dance and theatre on a TV. The experience is so different from watching live that it's not worth it. Of course, you list classic dancers who are all dead so video is the only choice.

I'd like to see "State Trooper" (1933) - I love 30s B pictures and it just sounds fun (and it has Ward Bond in it, always a plus). But like so many 30s Columbia Pictures movies, it's unavailable to be seen.

"The Weight of Water" (2000). Despite having a pretty notable cast (Sean Penn, Elizabeth Hurley, Sarah Polley, Catherine McCormack, Josh Lucas, Vinessa Shaw, etc.), it was a major flop for Kathryn Bigelow and received only a subpar DVD release twenty-plus years ago. I actually enjoy the film and would love to see a Blu-ray release, but it may never happen as the movie has been more or less buried. It isn't even available in HD for digital streaming or purchasing. Extremely annoying.

The complete short films of Betty Grable, Betty Hutton and June Allyson. I've seen some of them, but there are a bunch I can't find.
