The Friends episode with Brad Pitt. He and Ross were in the I Hate Rachel Club in HS. Joey says he can eat an entire turkey. While wearing jeans, he decides he needs to put on his 'eatin' pants. They turn out to be Phoebe's old maternity pants.

Mama's Family. A tornado hits Raytown on Thanksgiving.
Mama: "Lord, I should have known every time this family gets together there’s a disaster!"

THAT was a good Mama's Family episode. Hunkered down in Vint's and Naomi's basement love nest. Playing board games and getting drunk off of rum balls.
I love those kinds of episodes. People forced together under dire circumstances.

How about least favorite? I hated one of the Will & Grace Thanksgiving episodes. The one where we're supposed to believe Rosario ate an entire turkey by herself in one sitting.
I thought it was really offensive, and I was embarrassed for Shelley Morrison, who I'd loved since The Flying Nun.

Strangers With Candy. Trail of Tears. When Jerri discovers her American Indian heritage during casting of the Thanksgiving play, she attends a camp run by a councilor who teaches adopted Indian children about aspects of their culture, such as alcoholism and gambling.
Chuck Noblet: Hey, this'll be fun. Let's have a debate. Jerri will defend the godless savages, and everyone else will attack Jerri.
Jerri Blank: What?
Chuck Noblet: Don't be afraid to get personal. The objective is to win, or, rather, to attack Jerri.
Jerri Blank: I don't know anything about Indians because I'm *not* an Indian!
Chuck Noblet: A cunningly savage denial, Jerri. Alright, fact: a peaceful, napping General Custer was murdered in his sleep by bloodthirsty Indians while he was on a family camping trip!

There's nothing wrong with still loving the original Roseanne sitcom. Roseanne Barr as a person is a nutso, but her sitcom is still one of my favorites because I could relate to it because it showed a family dealing with struggles and not always being in happy circumstances.
