Is there a good podcast out there that covered this case? If she’d had confrontations with him before, was there any evidence that the shooting was premeditated? Did she have good defense witnesses and character witnesses?

Without knowing much about the case, I’m imagining how the scenario would have played out if this was an accident :

Guyger enters the apartment and sees Jean on sofa. Jean jumps to his feet and shouts expletive. Guyger reaches for her gun and should have stated she was the police and ordered him to get on the floor or place hands in the air. Most people would comply. I believe Jean would have complied. At that point, Guyger would have had time to process her surroundings and realize she wasn’t in her apartment. Situation deescalates and no one is harmed.

If I recall Guyger was trigger happy and had posted on social media before how she wasnt afraid to use her gun etc
