Happy 79th Birthday Goldie Hawn !
Goldie Hawn celebrates her 79th birthday today. She's come a long way since her "Laugh In" Days, with a successful movie career which earned her two Oscar nominations / one win. I recently saw her movie 'Sugarland Express' on TCM, thought it was just 'meh' (but I understand why it has gotten so much attention over the years because it was Spielberg's first big theatrical film he directed after 'Duel').
Of all the Hawn movies, 'Butterflies are Free' and 'Private Benjamin' are my two favorites, followed by 'First Wives Club'. 'Foul Play', 'Death Becomes Her', 'Seems Like Old Times', 'Protocol' and 'Overboard' all seemed to have missed the mark for me. I haven't seen every one of her movies, but plan to over the next few months (I've been on a Hawn kick).
Anyone else here a fan of Hawn's ?

She's done so many Fox News iv's over the years that she is a Trump vote for sure.
I'm so tired of all of these DL threads that drool over right wing celebs.
Casper Van Dien, Dwayne Johnson, Joan Rivers, Kirstie Alley, Richard Moll, Alain Delon, etc. etc.
Enough is enough.

“The One and Only Genuine Original Family Band” was the only film where I saw promise with Goldie. “Wildcats” more or less delivered with gratuitous full frontal nudity. The best I’ve seen her were the candid shots of Goldie and Kurt sunbathing in the buff on the patio of their building.

R7 Which kind of proves the belief that once an actress reaches a certain age, they are not employable in Hollywood (maybe Broadway). As for actors, no age keeps them unemployed in Hollywood.

Goldie has been one of my all time favourites since I was a kid. If a mobie of hers was on, id have to watch it. Its just her...you just want to see her..in anything. I remember hating Bird on a wire but like it now. House Sitter is wonderful with Steve Martin. Private Benjamin has always beeb a favourite and I LOVE Death becomes her. I like Overboard and First wives club. I wish she was more prolific. Snatched was a nice come back.
