And it's pretty harsh to say he has ZERO talent, r37. He has managed to sustain a career as a third-rate popstar and jewelry salesperson. I've seen clips of him on talk shows and he comes across as charming which is no small thing.

This album is the 5th one from his 5 album contract with his label. With that in mind, it seems like he just threw it together to complete the contract. Told his label to take it or leave it. May also explain why he’s barely promoted this thing. He’s just trying to be done with it all.

R9 when you have Mendes name recognition and access to talented writers and producers you can. But he changed up his writing team, has taken a front row seat on this album which resulted in piss poor lyrics. Everything is on the nose and none of it matches what’s in style right now.
