I would have posted that I have treated people with ring worm and it was not really a big deal. But the treatment resistant ring worm that I read about over a year ago sounded different. Pretty gastly in fact. . Lots of sores some pain don’t remember how much , and o lots of itching, a few months treatment, and these were mostly in mouth area, penis area, the ass area.

Not deadly but would put a crimp in dating for 3-4 months. Allegedly highly contagious , difficult to treat , and mostly passed thru sex with these recent men but it’s passed thru touch so it’s not always going to be sex..

The outbreaks I read about last year were among gay men in Paris. Another was with female sex workers in Asia or Africa I never read how either of those played out.

No one will care about this , likely not even the new admin, as long as this outbreak like monkey pox and aids remains among gay men. Let’s hope no first grader or a person getting medical care gets it on the arm from a gay teacher or nurse who has drug resistant sexually transmitted ring worm.
