What Crimes Do You Think Trump Will Commit In His Second Term?

I believe there will be hard evidence of treason and even Republicans will vilify him over it.

Op=Hope springs eternal.

by Anonymousreply 1November 10, 2024 5:29 AM

OP is on the pipe again.

by Anonymousreply 2November 10, 2024 9:54 AM

Not really, R2. It’s even more plausible now as there are no more guardrails.

by Anonymousreply 3November 10, 2024 8:12 PM

The drugs aren't really helping you, OP. Of COURSE he will commit treason (again), and there will be irrefutable evidence of his crimes. But Republicans will swear (first) that he is innocent, (then) that it isn't really a crime, (and finally) that it was actually done by a Democrat -who should be taken out and shot.

Too many to count.

by Anonymousreply 5November 10, 2024 9:25 PM

As president, he cannot commit crimes. If the president does it, it is legal.

by Anonymousreply 6November 10, 2024 9:31 PM

Of course he will commit crimes. Of course Republicans will not vilify him.

by Anonymousreply 7November 10, 2024 9:37 PM

More than he did during his first term. But SCOTUS said he can do it anyway.

by Anonymousreply 8November 11, 2024 1:33 AM

He will accept bribes, but he already did that. That should be one of the big ones, since it's actually mentioned in the Constitution.

by Anonymousreply 9November 11, 2024 1:43 AM

I expect him to open all the national parks to drilling and/or other “resource extraction.”

by Anonymousreply 10November 11, 2024 1:54 AM

They used to be crimes, but the Supreme Court gave him full immunity.

Bribery, witness tampering, violations of the Emoluments Clause, money laundering, shitting on the Constitution and completing the attempt on Mike Pence are all DISCHARGE CRIMES he can gleefully commit as part of his job.

He can void Government Contracts, divert billions in government funds and on and on because his corrupt Supreme Court gave him the power to protect THEM.
