A film that disappointed you and a film that surprised you how good it was--

For me- Both recent

I expected to LOVE Alien Romulus---

It fucking SUCKED! No suspense, 100% derivative, no gore, some absurd plot shit towards the end.,, And I know the director LOVES the franchise, so it KILLED me. It. sucked... And production wise, it was great, yet still fucking sucked...

I expected to hate and say that it was overhyped/overrated-

Longlegs---

I LOVED IT-- Truly frightening and engaging

Just loved it (and I HATED the same directors film with Kierna Shipka)

Love Maika Monroe, LOVED Blair Underwood even! It was --SO GOOD---
