In all the wallowing in self-pity over the election I lost sight of the real issue. What about Pete and Chasten? Where will they go? What will they do? Will no one think of their children?
What’s going to happen to Secretary Pete?
by Anonymous | reply 55 | November 11, 2024 8:00 PM |
No one cares.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | November 9, 2024 10:17 PM |
I care!
by Anonymous | reply 2 | November 9, 2024 10:18 PM |
I care.
I hope he has great success.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | November 9, 2024 10:18 PM |
I heard he might run for governor of Michigan. He lives in Michigan when he's not in DC
by Anonymous | reply 4 | November 9, 2024 10:21 PM |
He should have been the presidential nominee in 2020. He was getting the same dedicated fan base that Obama was getting, but the momentum was stopped because people were determined on giving Biden the nomination from the get-go.
He is the only one who can hold their own with the Republicans and eviscerate them without breaking a sweat. And he would have mopped the floor with Vance. Walz, in retrospect was a very poor choice.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | November 9, 2024 10:32 PM |
He's going to make Chasten pregnant again, until they have six kids!!
by Anonymous | reply 6 | November 9, 2024 10:35 PM |
Pete is going to have a well deserved rest for a year.
Maybe write a book
Take a nice vacation to Europe with the wife and kids.
And then start building a campaign for 2028.
Right now, Pete Buttigieg and Gavin Newsom are our best hope for 2028.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | November 9, 2024 10:37 PM |
Whatever he does, he has my support. He's just the type of Democrat we need running everything. So fucking smart and I'm so proud he's one of us.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | November 9, 2024 10:37 PM |
He has zero chance of being elected President. Sorry to say.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | November 9, 2024 10:39 PM |
OnlyFans?
by Anonymous | reply 10 | November 9, 2024 10:41 PM |
He's going to drop off the prop kids at the local orphanage.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | November 9, 2024 10:43 PM |
You know, I didn't like him until this campaign. But when I saw him take on the Foxers, I just had to admire him. He's whip smart and looks better fighting with them than he does just smiling into a camera.
I'd vote for him.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | November 9, 2024 10:46 PM |
He would certainly have my vote. But I suspect a majority of Americans would vote against him, no matter how qualified he is, because of the gay thing.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | November 9, 2024 11:09 PM |
You're fools to think that a gay man could be President. I can only imagine the shit that would be said about Chasten as First Spouse. Democrats should stick to middle aged, straight white men from the South. It's our only hope of winning.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | November 9, 2024 11:21 PM |
[quote] He has zero chance of being elected President. Sorry to say.
Unfortunately, you're right. Half the country hates him. And us.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | November 9, 2024 11:23 PM |
You heard it here first....WAIT FOR IT..............Pete wanted to be DNC Chair since 2019. He will try to do in in 2025......LINK....Old story talking about Petes previous attempt at the DNC Chair...
by Anonymous | reply 16 | November 9, 2024 11:25 PM |
He definitely could be a Governor in the right state. But he could also have a very successful and lucrative career in the private sector. I don't think there is any shortage of opportunities for him.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | November 9, 2024 11:26 PM |
My Peter has no time to rest! I have a list of “Honey Do” projects for him to complete that’s a mile long!
by Anonymous | reply 18 | November 9, 2024 11:26 PM |
Pete will be to great on the new council that will perform an autopsy on the party and draft a new “idea” a la the DLC that Clinton was a part of in the 80s
by Anonymous | reply 19 | November 9, 2024 11:32 PM |
He will become a poli-sci professor at an Ivy League.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | November 9, 2024 11:48 PM |
He should keep his hand in. Maybe run for Congress in 2026. He’s a great asset, very articulate and persuasive.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | November 9, 2024 11:54 PM |
He's going to be a full-time candidate for president for 2028 and live off of donations. When he loses that, maybe he'll do something in Michigan, assuming that the state hasn't completely swung to the Republicans by then.
He's not going to do anything that will distract from his presidential bid from now until then.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | November 9, 2024 11:59 PM |
R20 he’s not leaving the state.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | November 10, 2024 12:00 AM |
chasten is such a millennial boy name. LOL.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | November 10, 2024 12:05 AM |
I am NOT going back to fucking Michigan! Peter and I are part of the DC elite now.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | November 10, 2024 12:06 AM |
He can teach at a WOMEN’S college!
I’m not having some slutty twunk in a slim fit tee sitting in the front row of My Peter’s lecture, dropping pencils and trying to break up a happy marriage! I dealt with slut interns at DOT and I’m not doing dealing with more college aged tramps!
by Anonymous | reply 26 | November 10, 2024 12:09 AM |
The black base of the D party will never vote for a gay man. Pete got 1% of the black vote in the 2020 primaries. He will make a shit load of money in speaking fees and advising boards and when a D next wins the presidency he will get a sweet ambassador post to the UK or France.
But his elected office career is dead.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | November 10, 2024 12:10 AM |
I'm sure he's made enough money to allow them to live well. He'll probably write some books after he's gone from Washington, go on some speaking tours. They'll be fine.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | November 10, 2024 12:10 AM |
[quote]But his elected office career is dead.
He never had an elected career, other than Mayor.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | November 10, 2024 12:17 AM |
He’s a very good speaker/debater, so he should find a position utilizing those skills.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | November 10, 2024 12:19 AM |
Hooterville University President?

You know NOTHING about our lovemaking r32! My Peter is a tender yet forceful lover!
There were moments of gold And there were flashes of light!
There were things I'd never do again But then they'd always seemed right!
There were nights of endless pleasure It was more than any laws allow!
Find your own Maltese husband r32! They are EXCEPTIONAL lovers!
by Anonymous | reply 33 | November 10, 2024 2:23 AM |
I'm sure Pete's thick, veiny Maltese cock finds other more alluring targets than Chasten's bovine butthole.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | November 10, 2024 2:28 AM |

He needs to be DNC Chair.
We need someone smart and willing to fight.
That's Pete.

Time to trade up.

by Anonymous | reply 39 | November 10, 2024 2:33 PM |
He might run for Gov or Senator He will need a higher political position before he can even consider the presidency
by Anonymous | reply 40 | November 10, 2024 2:40 PM |
if and when I show up at his house for dinner, I'm bringing my bluetooth boombox so we can jam to Melba Moore "Read My Lips".
by Anonymous | reply 41 | November 10, 2024 2:44 PM |
My Peter and I are not inviting any of you evil Datalounge Gays over for dinner, for tea, for cocktails and CERTAINLY not for perverse sex games!
And as for YOU, Madame Schock- my Peter likes a partner with apple cheeks and morals! Not some leathery, desiccated 50 year old mattress!
You gays need to follow Nene Leakes’ advice-CLOSE YOUR LEGS TO MARRIED MEN!
by Anonymous | reply 42 | November 10, 2024 6:51 PM |
Mrs. B -
Pete needs someone like me. I'll grunt and groan like a man when he rams his girthy Maltese falcon inside my hole.....instead of getting what you have to offer.....shrieking like Mrs. Doubtfire when he tries to untie your pegnoir.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | November 10, 2024 6:54 PM |
Please respect the sanctity of marriage, you harlots!
by Anonymous | reply 44 | November 10, 2024 6:55 PM |

He would have trouble winning. He would have answer to the truckload, boatload, trainload of problems he dealt with poorly at Transportation.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | November 10, 2024 9:10 PM |
The Buttigiegs are enemies of the state. They need to grab the kids and flee to Europe.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | November 10, 2024 9:35 PM |
Probably the Grand Rapids Camp. The kids will go to a Church family.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | November 11, 2024 9:39 AM |
He can finally ditch that pile of mashed potatoes he married and move to Dubai and become the OnlyFans whore he’s always wanted be.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | November 11, 2024 10:19 AM |
Dear Pete,
Hi. I'd like to invite you, Chasten and your children to my home for Thanksgiving dinner this year. My dog will be catering. He says he will be serving popcorn, jelly beans and pretzels.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | November 11, 2024 11:16 AM |
Don’t worry about us Datalounge Gays! I told My Peter he can help me sell some more Lularoe leggings while he looks for a job!
I got Jill Biden and Nancy Pelosi to buy some!
I just need $45,000 more and I will finally have my minivan!
by Anonymous | reply 50 | November 11, 2024 4:15 PM |
Pete is from Indiana. I doubt he has a chance at statewide office in that red hellhole - so no governor or senator.
The congressman from that district is a rethug - Rudy Yakym. Pete can't afford to run and lose a congressional seat or his political career would be over.
I'm betting "political analyst" for some news channel - which he's proven quite adept at doing. If he goes lobbyist, he is creating vectors for attacking him if he tries another political run, so that seems unlikely. Same with most other jobs in industry - he'd open himself up to accusations from both sides if he converted his Sec of Transportation job into a highly paid gig.
The big open question is whether he continues to have political aspirations.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | November 11, 2024 4:31 PM |
^ He lives in Michigan now
by Anonymous | reply 52 | November 11, 2024 5:41 PM |
Obviously he established residence in Michigan in order to run for statewide office.
