Licorice Pizza
2nd time watching this film (since it came out) and its just really LOVELY- Just a nice flowy, good vibe, kind hearted story (that really isn't about much)
I should hate both of the leads, but they are both incredibly charismatic considering they look like NORMAL people-
Recommended-- (however, Mia Rudolph, the directors wife- has a very small role, and no joke, it triggered me and reminded me of you know who and you know what-

R1 I was not even born when this took place, but soon later-- 1979- But its just KIND, and SWEET, and NICE--- I did hate whats his name-Tom Waits-- I just realized that-- He was the only one === ACTING+==== He took the life out of it for 20-30 minutes,,, but other than that- the actors were PERFECT..
Its just very REAL to me..
It comforts me-
Hopefully it becomes a cult classic some day

That pedo as fuck movie....I wanted to love it. I love the director, I love the 70s...one of the biggest cinematic dissapointments of the last few years.
It really was pedo af. And sent all the wrong messages. And I am FAR from a pearl clutcher.

If we're talkung 70s, Dazed and Confused was a million times better and it didnt involve a "love story" between a horny pimply pubescent 15 year old kid and a 25 (or older) pathetic loser of a woman who cant connect with people her own age.
