When I was a kid it seems like Oct. was when we were raking up the leaves. Now it doesn't start until November.
Is Global Warming making leaves fall later?

Where do you live ? I'm in RI and the leaves started falling in September. Most of the leaves in my neighborhood are off the trees as of today. And we're having an unseasonably warm Autumn this year, with no rain.

It's been a very odd Fall in the Mid-Atlantic.

Cold temperatures are important for leaf fall as it accelerates the formation of the abscission layer which prompts leaf drop. It's been an unusually mild Autumn, hence the delay in gazillions of leaves to rake.
Many of the trees in my area(Philadelphia) still think it's June and have not started to change color. Chalk it up again to warm temps, and no rain.
Here I sit with waxed paper and iron in hand, waiting patiently. 🍂🍃🍁
