“The Rise of the Latino Far Right:” Why Latinos Are Turning Out for Trump
Absolutely fascinating breakdown of this phenomenon by Amanpour and Company and Paolo Ramos, the author of "Defectors."
"The votes of 63 million Latino Americans will be a deciding factor in the November election. Despite his history of anti-immigration rhetoric, Donald Trump has been making inroads with this constituency, which in the past leaned Democratic.
Award-winning journalist Paola Ramos investigates this shift in her new book "Defectors: The Rise of the Latino Far Right and What It Means for America."

I'm living in SoCal. I'll put it this way, I don't know a Latino that isn't a Republican, and I know many. I don't know why or how people ever got the idea that Latinos are Libs. The majority, IMO aren't.

MSNBC should hire Paolo right away!
She is so smart and very charismatic.
Her time working on Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign would also make her a valuable contributor to any political discussion.

Trump failed miserably in his Univision interview. Who are these right-wing Latinos? I'm thinking it's just a few Mormons and evangelicals but certainly no movement.

Latinos are very religious. Why would they be pro-woman and pro-LGBT? Mass immigration has been helping the Religious Right. Oops.

That's what happened when we did mass deportations in the thirties. Most of the deported were US citizens.
