Very cool, beautiful old house/castle in great condition for the price. There's a few cosmetic issues due to its adaptation as a tai-chi centre, nothing that a few days work and some paint and paper couldnt correct. Then just fill with Victorian furniture and enjoy. I'd want to add a garage/ carport somewhere on the property myself and looking on Google Streetview there' a suitable spot

The Tai Chi center but made me think of Fleabag.

That ceiling with the molding is lovely.

It's not a castle, folks. It's a 1890s bourgeois house with nice volumes. And some terrible recent choices in surface decor.

I'd like to buy it and run a "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" type boarding house in which people who are trying to escape the Dump Admin Part II can come and live for some period of time.

When you click on street view you see the house practically abuts a low-income housing project.

That's pretty much how it goes in any UK town or city, r6. Social housing is different in the UK in the US, rooting from a housing shortage in the UK. While the poorest of the poor are in those council estates, the income levels across-the-board are far higher than in the US.

R6 only thing I see next to it is a Care Home (Bennochy Lodge). That's an elder care facility (often called care homes in the UK and Aus/ NZ), unlikely to cause any problems. Other housing nearby just looks like average housing for the area, plus there are a number of other old Victorian piles like this one
