What ideas or projects did Gary Morton talk Lucille Ball out of?

I heard that Lucy was going to run for president but Gary talked her out of it.

Lucy hired performance artist Laurie Anderson to create a one-woman show, highlighting Lucy's relationship to America and other themes. Lucy was ready to premier [bold]United States, I-IV [/bold]at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in 1983. The rehearsals went well. Lucy wasn't totally sold on the idea, but she was willing and eager to try something new and innovative before retiring from performing. She was still hurt from the reception to her [bold]Mame[/bold] and wanted to show that she could still perform.

Unfortunately, after some rehearsals that Gary attended, Lucy withdrew. She tearfully thanked Laurie Anderson and the crew before running out of the theatre. Gary was heard to say "She'll never do shit like this! Never!! Where are the laughs???" as he ran after her.
