Superficially speaking, that’s a great photo of him. Bald head cropped out, eyes looking soulful, blobby nose given a more flattering angle, and beard adding a new level of masc. Well done.

by Anonymousreply 1November 8, 2024 12:47 AM

I'm not crazy about the beard but his eyes do look nice there.

by Anonymousreply 2November 8, 2024 12:50 AM

He's got his mother's eyes

by Anonymousreply 3November 8, 2024 1:00 AM

Call your brother William!

by Anonymousreply 4November 8, 2024 1:01 AM

Why would he call his brother William when his name is Harry?

by Anonymousreply 5November 8, 2024 1:14 AM

Call me by your name

by Anonymousreply 6November 8, 2024 1:18 AM

I've "met" him (rope line)... the eyes are mesmerising - yes, his mother's - and he's got charisma.

by Anonymousreply 7November 8, 2024 1:20 AM

Yeah, uh, huh. Anyway.

by Anonymousreply 8November 8, 2024 1:21 AM

Call me irresponsible!

by Anonymousreply 9November 8, 2024 1:43 AM

It's widely surmised that his father's prognosis is fatal and that his wife's is uncertain-top-bad, so it's got to be very rough on him.

If Kate should predecease him, it would be something that's not been precedented for a male British monarch since George IV.

When Calls William’s Name!

Prediction: An orphaned, widowed William will murder Harry, marry Meaghan, return her to the Royal Palace with her kids, have an additional mixed child with Megs, and force Camilla to become their new chambermaid.

PS: Hubba, hubba with the new beard—me likey.

by Anonymousreply 11November 8, 2024 3:37 AM

Once he’s free of both Charles and Kate I predict he will absolutely BLOSSOM!

by Anonymousreply 12November 8, 2024 3:58 AM

So you’re saying I still have a chance of marrying the future King?

by Anonymousreply 13November 8, 2024 4:30 AM

Why doesn’t he just get cancer too, so that he has something in common with them? He doesn’t need to feel left out.

by Anonymousreply 14November 8, 2024 4:35 AM

Yet he hates his own brother and family. Who does that?

by Anonymousreply 15November 8, 2024 4:55 AM

People who have toxic family members.

by Anonymousreply 16November 8, 2024 4:57 AM

He does look much better with the beard. It softens his sharper features. Good advice from little Charlotte.

[QUOTE]Yet he hates his own brother and family. Who does that?

Breaking Harry's puka shell necklace is not evidence of hate. Nor is wishing to be free of a pesky, needy younger brother at boarding school.

OTOH, the brother who became retribution incarnate for perceived slights and who free-ranged on his family for profit in 'Spare" and in Oprah's interview could be characterized as the hateful one.

Just when I thought that the stupidity of Americans had hit the depths, along comes this thread,

by Anonymousreply 18November 8, 2024 9:18 AM

After a certain age, men must sport facial hair or they'll look like lesbians/FTMs

And women must style their hair short or they'll look like witches with long hair.

by Anonymousreply 19November 8, 2024 9:29 AM

r18, It's defensive. You're forgetting we're in shock. We're not in a place to properly digest this story so people are focusing on the superficial. It feels for us a bit like after 9/11. I'm sorry about his suffering wife and dying father and idiot brother, I just can't take that on right now so I'm happy for him to at least have a good skin care routine.

by Anonymousreply 20November 8, 2024 10:04 AM

I hope he's getting the prostate relief he needs.

by Anonymousreply 21November 8, 2024 10:18 AM

This must be incredibly difficult for him to deal with, and my heart goes out to him and his family, but I will concur that is a very flattering photo.

by Anonymousreply 22November 8, 2024 10:26 AM

I am sure the impact was nowhere as great as the impact that his shady business practices have on his tenants, who are forced to live in mould-ridden properties he rents out for considerable prices. Also, his father and him are making millions by charging rent to public services, for which they won't pay a single penny in tax. So much for being the best of the realm and becons of morality who want to end homelessness, huh?

Very nice picture. But it comes with recent trauma. Fortunately he has a respectful staff, immaculate and beautiful properties, and a family fortune of $28 billion to help him make it through. I feel bad for any family dealing with young children and a youngish parent with cancer.

by Anonymousreply 24November 8, 2024 10:54 AM

I like the beard; he has fair skin and is typically quite thin, so the beard "fills him out" a bit. Because everything with the BRF always seems to be some sort of maneuver, I wonder if his people are increasing his profile as a sympathetic figure to offset the inevitable backlash from the hard reckoning Andrew is facing. Charles is doing is the heavy lifting, but no doubt some of it is bound to fall onto Wills too.

by Anonymousreply 25November 8, 2024 11:00 AM

Hardest year ever? What am I - chopped liver?

by Anonymousreply 26November 8, 2024 11:19 AM

r26 Time heals all wounds. Unless you're a certain younger brother who keeps a lock of her hair by his bedside every night.

Time wounds all heels.

by Anonymousreply 28November 8, 2024 5:18 PM

I am willing to give a blowjob to William's circumcised royal rod to help relieve his stress.

by Anonymousreply 29November 9, 2024 7:37 AM

Williams lips looked very dry and chapped in the photo at OP.

by Anonymousreply 30November 9, 2024 6:36 PM

He's getting all this press because he's in South Africa and reporters have more access to him.
