I actually get mad when people go on and on about how Trumpers are people who are poor and/or no college etc. when that’s so untrue. Go to Ivy League schools. Most of those white guys are… REPUBLICAN.

R6 - but that's what the stats show. And no - most of the white guys at Ivy schools are not Republican - the frat boys are and of course there is a presence on campuses, but it's not most. Not by a long shot.

Sigma Nu at my school was the rich, fun frat. They always had tons of coke. That was the 80s, though.

Why are some of you even questioning this? Everyone knows that a huge amount of young people voted for Trump this time. This is not a debate. This is a fact. People are even talking about it because this is a fact. The 18 to 25-year-old age bracket, yeah, many of them voted for Trump this time. He destroyed Kamala.

Yep. Andrew Tate, Joe Rogan, Adin Ross and their ilk were able to get into the heads of these young white men and radicalize them. They gave them victim complexes and made them feel like they were victims of society and this is the result.

R12 and R13, others have mentioned how men (especially white men) have been demonized and sidelined in today's society. I think the extreme left stance gave birth to this blowback. Newsweek posted an article about how Kamala underperformed with Gen Z and Trump over performed with them.

They said part of why Trump won was because of his high Gen Z percentage. You all are blaming Latinos etc. when it was your precious young white men who really helped push him to victory.

I went to Mizzou for undergrad and was well aware of this fraternity we called “Sigma Nure.” They were sanctioned for repeated sexual assaults of women and the rest of the fraternities even had a song about Sigma Nu: “ I’m an asshole, I’m an asshole through and through, I would rather be an asshole than a fucking Sigma Nu.”

I remember Sigma Nu just being kind of preppy business major dudes back in the early aughts at my own mid-Missouri state school (not MU).
