Well I thought my boss was voting Kamala...
When Roe was overturned she confided in me that she was terrified for her daughter's (then 22 months old) future. Last week I asked her if she had voted early yet and she replied, "Not yet but I definitely will. Not making that mistake again."
So today I asked how she was feeling now with her daughter being over 5 plus having a new 4 month old daughter and she said was feeling great and Trump was going to save us all.
WTF???
I asked about what she had told me before and she proceeded to tell me she was "mean momma" and "if you're woman enough to lay down then you're woman enough to raise that child." Lots of "this is a man's world" and the "bible says it is a woman's duty to defer to her husband" and this country is "so much more progressive than the rest of the world that Kamala, being a woman, would be a joke and laughed at."
I asked her if she felt the same about Angela Merkel, Benazir Bhutto, Indira Ghandi, Golda Meir were laughing stocks.
She said she didn't know who any of them are.
She also said Trump was a great president and we "all got more money from him."

My other co-worker, we are a 3 person team was just dumbfounded. She loathes Trump and could not believe what she was hearing. She brought up IVF, trying to ban the morning after pill, etc... Then rape to which my boss replied, "Why should the child suffer for something terrible that happened to the mother."
My boss is 37. I'm 48 and my co-worker is 54. I have no kids and my co-worker has a son that is in his early 20s so I'm guessing new motherhood fucks with your brain?
The money part wasn't even about that PPP checks. She got the standard $1200 like the rest of us. She is talking about her promotion to being our boss. I trained her but didn't want the position cause it is barely more than I make now and I have a 4 day work week whereas she is on-call 24/7 and kisses corporate ass like there is no tomorrow.
