Dems all run to get middle. People voted for the extreme.

No way in hell. Americans would rather starve than see their neighbor get something for free.

Please tell me you're joking. She had many of those ideas in her platform, and more.
Inflation and immigration. Until that gets dealt with, forget about policy. Also crime.

No, she did not. She ran to the right. We will not beat the Republicans at their own game, and we need to stop trying.

Doubling the federal minimum wage is to the right?

Eric Adams should have been a wake up call. The fact the he won a competitive RCV primary on a platform of fighting crime should tell you where ordinary Dems' priorities are.

R2 but we’re being told today that they voted for Trump because they wanted the free stuff and they didn’t like to see the free stuff going to the migrants. Now Trump singing to look after them. We don’t see them and they need to be “seen” we are told.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | November 6, 2024 9:33 PM |
R2 nails it. The majority of Americans are cruel, racist, homophobic, misogynistic people who peddle hatred and persecution of the "other". Hint: we're the "other".
That's not why they voted for Trump R7. You know that.

I agree with this. When I worked as a grocery store cashier, I heard all the ugly comments people would make about customers using EBT or WIC.

America is too racist to have an even mildly collective society. And that's before we even start unpacking the classism and communities that are pitted against each other.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | November 6, 2024 10:04 PM |
Of course I know it R8 but that’s how it’s being spun today. And it’s frustrating because if we run too far to the left they call us communists. Hard to win.

I am so embarrassed to post this but: My mom is 74 and has said many times she wants to age in her own home and not be put in a nursing home. Great, but I live 10 hours away and my brother doesn't even visit her now, despite being 10 minutes away.
So Kamala's plan to have Medicare pay for in-home care would greatly benefit my mom. When I asked my mom whom she wanted to "win" (thank God she doesn't vote) she said Trump.
When I asked her why and pointed out what Kamala would do versus Trump's "concept of a plan" my mom doubled down on Trump, intimating she might have developed a "bit of a crush" on him.
At this point I can only hope she is in the early stages of dementia, but unfortunately she's not.

The dams have got to figure out how to get rid of this upper hand in the media narrative that they have had since Reagan. It dogged the Clinton presidency, Obama was pretty close to handling it, but nobody else has come close. They are the tail wagging the dog.

Dems^

She could have sent every Republican $1,000 and still not got their vote.

These right wing idiots will destroy the economy.
If we have an election in 2028 a Democrat will be elected to clean it up.
Once the economy is cleaned up the right will start grumbling about nonsense and a Republican “you can have a beer with” will be elected.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | November 6, 2024 10:20 PM |
No, OP. What you are suggesting is a pipe dream and will never get the majority of voters in America. Ever.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | November 6, 2024 10:26 PM |
No, because that's a progressive economic agenda that political progressives would attach it to a progressive social agenda: trans self-id from childhood and sport participation to your declared gender, DEI quota mandates in education, business, and government with reductions for qualified white males, classification of misdemeanor crimes like shoplifting as non-enforceable under a set dollar figure. They can't help themselves. They would never try for just class.

"It should come as no great surprise that a Democratic Party which has abandoned working class people would find that the working class has abandoned them.
While the Democratic leadership defends the status quo, the American people are angry and want change.
And they’re right."
by Anonymous | reply 20 | November 6, 2024 10:41 PM |
OP, are you fucking kidding!?
Your pro-tranny, pro-Hamas nonsense already cost us voters this week! Not one "Progressive" has EVER made aeven a tiny bit of progress on ANY of those issues, but DEMOCRATS have!
by Anonymous | reply 21 | November 6, 2024 10:56 PM |
The Progressive Agenda is what got Trump elected. Most of America see Progressive as the Far Left who don't believe in family values. They're against Drag Queens reading to kids and don't want "Chicks With Dicks" invading the Girl's Locker Room.

Yes indeed, we too use "cookies." Take a look at our privacy/terms or if you just want to see the damn site without all this bureaucratic nonsense, click ACCEPT. Otherwise, you'll just have to find some other site for your pointless bitchery needs.
