He won the popular and electoral votes and we lost the Senate and the House?! I smell a rat.

Could this election have been stolen? Notice I say “could”.

by Anonymousreply 23November 7, 2024 1:17 AM

Nah.

by Anonymousreply 1November 6, 2024 8:03 PM

No. Biden was very unpopular. And Kamala couldn't think of anything she would do differently.

by Anonymousreply 2November 6, 2024 8:04 PM

No, the people have spoken loud and clear, they want Trump and his policies. Let come what may.

by Anonymousreply 3November 6, 2024 8:07 PM

They don't want Trump or his policies. They wanted "change."

by Anonymousreply 4November 6, 2024 8:10 PM

They have everything they want. And they will own all the consequences. Not that it matters.

I wouldn’t even bother showing up if I were in the House or Senate. Just let ‘em rip.

by Anonymousreply 5November 6, 2024 8:12 PM

r4 I mean, that's like saying people voted for change and not Obama back in 2008. There's really no way of knowing which one is true, anyway.

by Anonymousreply 6November 6, 2024 8:13 PM

The rat you smell is inside the Dems: a difficult economy, too much wacko extreme Left BS, bad populist moves, an unpopular Biden, a weak Kamala and Tim pairing, and above all poor planning. This is the time when we look back and think of the opportunities missed and there have been so many.

by Anonymousreply 7November 6, 2024 8:15 PM

People are saying…

by Anonymousreply 8November 6, 2024 8:17 PM

Who knew joy doesn't pay people's bills or keep them safe in the subway.

by Anonymousreply 9November 6, 2024 8:18 PM

Who knew the country might actually be fascist? Remember, the first Hitler was also voted into office.

by Anonymousreply 10November 6, 2024 8:21 PM

North Carolina is indeed odd. Dems won every seat on the ballot except for president

by Anonymousreply 11November 6, 2024 8:45 PM

[quote] Who knew joy doesn't pay people's bills or keep them safe in the subway.

Joy is one more thing than Trump ever offered.

Trump is just going to take credit for Biden's economy and start yelling "The economy is great!" People believe him until his next tax cut for the rich will tank everything, I've seen this happen for the last 30 years.

by Anonymousreply 12November 6, 2024 8:47 PM

Florida should be looked at too. All their results are reported about two seconds after the polls close and always show a Republican landslide.

by Anonymousreply 13November 6, 2024 8:48 PM

What happens to that fat "pissy asshole" Nazi guy from North Carolina now? Will he get a spot in Trump's cabinet?

by Anonymousreply 14November 6, 2024 8:49 PM

It's just strange that Biden wiped the floor with him, but not Kamala. There is even more Trump repulsion now than then. The Anyone But Trump movement was powerful.

by Anonymousreply 15November 6, 2024 10:42 PM

If Trump hadn't bungled COVID so badly in 2020, Biden likely wouldn't have beaten him.

by Anonymousreply 16November 6, 2024 10:47 PM

Americans are more concerned about the cost of a bag of Doritos than they are about US democracy or the US constitution.

So they voted for the guy and the party who not only doesn't care about the cost of a bag of Doritos, but doesn't give a rat's ass whether they or their kids have enough to eat, a roof over their head or health care or medical care.

by Anonymousreply 17November 6, 2024 10:50 PM

[quote]Americans are more concerned about the cost of a bag of Doritos than they are about US democracy or the US constitution.

That's consistently how people vote, so the Democrats better learn how to adapt.

by Anonymousreply 18November 6, 2024 10:53 PM

“Could” this election have been STOLEN?” Notice I said “STOLEN”.

by Anonymousreply 19November 6, 2024 10:53 PM

"so the Democrats better learn how to adapt."

Adapt to what?

After 4 years of Trump and the Republican majority in the legislative, executive and judicial branches, the middle class will have been eliminated and American society will resemble the American South pre-Civil War: 1% Aristocracy, 2% Technocrats to service to Aristocracy, and the rest will be the poor and uneducated. It's been Republicans stated goal for generations, yet assholes like R18 don't want to believe it because the cost of a bag of Doritos is so god damned important to them.

by Anonymousreply 20November 6, 2024 11:04 PM

Could have been stolen?

by Anonymousreply 21November 6, 2024 11:50 PM

The bomb threats to polling stations came just as Trump tweeted about fraud in Philly and Detroit and falsely claimed that law enforcement was on the way. He was starting the steal but then everything broke perfectly for him. He is the luckiest son of a bitch ever born so who knows.

by Anonymousreply 22November 6, 2024 11:56 PM

I don't know. So far, no evidence of widespread cheating, and I hope we aren't there. But it's possible that for the past four years the Republicans have been figuring out exactly how to steal an election. They tend to be doing the exact thing they are hollering about the most.

Still, there would need to be an actual case, actual evidence, actual trial before we could be even remotely sure.
