OP is right. The media normalized Trump. Basically turned everything in to He said-She said. As though they were just two equal people fighting for an equal place. It wasn't until a few days ago that the NY Times ran a few editorials but that meant nothing. By normalizing Trump for all these years, they made it clear that he and Harris, or Biden, or anyone else, were equals.

I'm sorry. I live in an enturely different world from OP. The media was constantly calling him out on his errors and lies. Coverage was very negative. To the point the NYT and others were actively calling his lies lies In articles which they don't usually do for other politicians' lies.

The press is biased, but despite the years of the right complaining it has a LIBERAL bias, it really has a CONSERVATIVE bias, with lots of sanewashing for horrifying actions.
