The saddest part is how people who genuinely care about the trans community fell for the bullshit narrative that trans rights are an important issue. In all fairness, low information Trump voters fell for the same narrative as well, albeit on the other side of the same coin.

Trans are a microscopic, barely detectable blip in our country. They have zero power or influence on anyone or anything when viewing American politics analytically, other than when weaponized against us & used as the non existent threat that an overwhelming number of people mistakenly believed they were.

Notice how we have barely heard anything about them in the last 6 months? Pay attention to the coming years, as we will not hear about them then, either.

Why is that?

Because they’re a fabricated problem, used to corral the homophobes into a secure spot within the right wing groups.

Same with most woke propaganda. Being socially aware & compassionate is NOT a personal defect of character, however it certainly is to those who cannot afford to buy a home or who cannot even afford to rent an apartment without living with 3 or more roommates, or having no choice but to move back home with one’s parents.

This administration will further push the economically insecure into the fringes. That was never going to change in any meaningful way, other than to accelerate the process.

Can’t afford to rent an apartment? Now you will have an even harder time doing so. Don’t have affordable healthcare? Now you will very likely not get ANY healthcare at all. Barely scraping by on a fixed income? Now you are truly only one wrong move away from becoming homeless. Already homeless? Prepare to remain homeless.

That’s all that will happen here. Demographics that are viewed as problematic will lose what ever tiny visibility they had.

That’s what this vote was all about. Americans who are sick & tired of being reminded that there are some VERY real issues out there, & that those who are struggling desperately need help, yet decided that it’s not their problem & don’t really give a fuck.

Human nature is all about looking out for number one, & in order to for number one to exist, number 2 & below must get out of the way.

I forgot to add that the economic repercussions of this election will not be immediately felt for some time by those who are economically struggling or who are inches away from becoming financially insecure. But it WILL be felt eventually, without question.
