Why are white women so pathetic and self loathing.

100% agreed. Said it would be Haley in 2028 way back, but I think we're done with one party getting two terms in a row now. So, Gallego 2028!

Only if it's a white woman candidate, OP.

White women in 2016: 51% voted for Trump
White women in 2020: 53% voted for Trump
White women in 2024: ?? % voted for Trump
I'm willing to bet that at least 53% or more voted for Trump in 2024. So much for bodily autonomy. Enjoy your Handmaidens Tale reality.

I agree with this. Nikki Haley and Vance will be the ticket in 2028. Then Haley will run for President in ‘32. And win handily.

Oh honey, they'll repeal the 19th Amendment before THAT happens.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | November 6, 2024 1:28 PM |
You're assuming OP that there's going to be an election in 2028.

Every future president will be Republican.
Nobody seems to understand. The American experiment is dead.
Rome fell. Find your exit route.

R7 is correct. We have an emperor now. And he warned you.
There is no future.

Some of us understand R8. Granted - there are a lot of terminally stupid people who seem to be completely clueless and helpless to educate themselves.

It'll totally be worth it if it makes people stop using that cringeworthy phrase "the American experiment". Most countries in the world are constitutional democracies, the "experiment" succeeded ages ago.

I remember someone posting the same thing in 2016. There will be no female president, Republican or otherwise. Too many Americans hate women. And Trump has just given Republican men a roadmap for how to capitalize on fomenting that hatred.
Dems will never nominate another female after this. They may try to Shapiro in 2028 he may pick Whitmer as his VP if he gets the nom, but there is no way on God's green earth the USA will elect a woman. That is all 2024 proved.

Agreed, they're gonna capitalize on and weaponize assets like Rogan like nothing you've ever seen before. It's like Italy or any other Latin American country now, machismo rules the day.

I have always said this. The democratic party has left men in the lurch so badly, especially white men, that the only way they will ever vote for a woman is uf she's republican. But a woman running for a party that has an anti male stench was never a sound decision.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | November 6, 2024 3:03 PM |
Not true.
But the next Democratic candidates should be older men.
Biden was elected because racists could like him.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | November 6, 2024 3:05 PM |
Wrong R14. The GOP is the party that continually leaves men (working class men, really) in the lurch with economic policies that have hurt them economically, going back to the Reagan years of union busting, the mythical "trickle down economics".
The GOP is not the party of supporting the lives of the working class. It's the party of the working class's prejudices.

Latino culture in general is sexist. Even women are sexist.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | November 6, 2024 8:32 PM |
The GOP will inevitably crash the economy. Then Dems will have another chance
by Anonymous | reply 18 | November 6, 2024 9:25 PM |
Chance to what? Play janitor again to clean up another GOP mega-mess? And then have voters and the media whine and complain that they haven't fixed everything in a couple of months?
