He's up to 277 right now, with a win in Wisconsin.

I'm loving Jen Psaki anchoring the late night MSNBC election coverage.
She's so level-headed and mild mannered, but at the same time she's also intelligent and politically knowledgeable.
I wish they would elevate her at MSNBC, because she's a very valuable resource.

Donald Trump is winning the popular vote by more than 5,000,000 votes
The Morning Joe team are calling it a landslide, and they were shocked that Harris only won New Jersey by 5 points and Illinois by 4 points.
Something weird is happening in this country, and I can't put my finger on it.

Disinformation and far right/Russian propaganda has won. Peter Thiel’s Rumble , Andrew Tate, Rogan, Twitter all the Russian paid YouTuber’s like Tim Pool. The far left have Russia associated Grayzone and Glenn Greenwald.
This is it folks. We are done.

And there are no Allied Powers to come and beat the shit out of this country like we deserve. That's the only way out, but it's not gonna happen.

If anyone wants a crash course in disinformation read Barbara McQuade's book Attack from Within: How Disinformation is Sabotaging America.

I wonder if a lot of post-pandemic backlash: financial hardships, vaccine mandates, masks, etc. I feel like the country is angry at Biden and wants to punish him and this is the result.

Or maybe we're the weird ones and the "silent majority" is sane. But no, that can't possibly be it.

I have faith that Trump will once again prove not only to repulse most Americans, but to actively get in his own way. I am pretty sure that he will crash the American economy and the dollar. He will find others to blame, or just die and leave us with the mess.

We are so fucked

Trump is on track to win every single swing state.

Harris really bad choice. Should have gone with Michelle Obama

And to make it even more nauseating, Republicans will also control the House and Senate.
Worst election of my lifetime, and I'm an eldergay.

And the Supreme Court R17, which granted him unlimited power.
He will also fill the White House with HIS people who are loyal to him, unlike his first term, where Trump received a lot of push back from people in his administration.
As it was said time and time again, the guard rails are off this time around.
Trump will have unlimited power, and he will rule as a dictator.
Neither the Supreme Court nor the Republican controlled House and Senate CAN or WILL stop him.

Maybe he'll drop dead before he's inaugurated. That would stop him.

This is just insane.

Get ready for President JD Vance. He will 25th Amendment Trump at the first opportunity, that was always Musk and Thiels’s plan.
Not that Vance is would be much of an improvement but at least you’d have a sane person in charge who understands how the economy (i.e. tariffs) works. And it was only a few years ago that he was condemning Trump as America’s Hitler so there may be some chance he returns to his core beliefs. He’s a MAGAt of convenience.

Oh well, it was just going to be 24/7 bashing Kamala anyway. Everything she did would be vilified, and they'd spend 4 years trying to impeach her.
Worst losers: 1) FOX News has to now become Trump's publicity machine, Trumpsplaining his every fail; and 3) Ukraine. Bye-bye...
by Anonymous | reply 23 | November 6, 2024 12:51 PM |
Oh god, pinning our hopes on *Vance*!

This is a failure of the American voter, first and foremost. Always has been.
It is also a systemic failure of the Constitution and our justice system. In no country with properly functioning laws would a person with felony convictions be permitted to run for President.

He got almost the same number of votes as in 2020. People did not come out and vote for her. She ran an excellent campaign I don’t blame her at all, something is wrong with this country.
I’m going to sign off of social media, including here. It is just eating away at my sanity.

[quote]R26: People did not come out and vote for her. She ran an excellent campaign I don’t blame her at all, something is wrong with this country.
I'm not so sure that people didn't come out and vote for her. Over the past year, Rachel Maddow and others have been warning that Republicans have been concentrating on undermining voting infrastructure, and gaming how the votes are counted and certified. All the disinformation dumped upon the public has been a huge issue, but election infrastructure has been the hidden other half of it.
