Actually, I am glad I live in California now with Gavin. Still a very powerful state with a global economy, supply most of the country with food grown here, most of the tech, lots of energy resources. And Gavin has the balls to fight back.

Part of the reason Trump won is because people felt Dems were soft on crime. I saw it all over Nextdoor and on Reddit. Allowing people to steal without consequence. They felt Trump would be tougher. We’ve all seen the videos of people pushing carts full of stuff and walking out and nothing happening.,

Interesting opinion from Twitter:
"I think the rest of the world just has to realise the US we thought we all knew probably just doesn't exist and hasn't for a while. We need to shift our assumptions and look at the US in the same way we look at India."

Praying for you all from Sydney. I really hope that POS Dump doesn't get this. It's been heartbreaking to watch from over here, have been in shock and disbelief that so many people could support such a low-quality man like him. And a professional criminal to boot! Predator, abuser etc etc It really is fucking unbelievable that there are people that are voting against their own interests. Devastating.

r12 Yeah, people need to feel safe first before they can hold hands and sing the kumbayah. Story as old as time, but we like to pretend intolerable things are tolerable.

Whatever fantasy gets you through these dark times I guess r7.
But anyway, for the rest of us, I intend to accept that we are currently living in a crazy country that does not deserve anything but a very sullen acceptance that legally Trump will apparently be the next guy farting around in the Oval Office. I hope nobody is intending to do any unity or any of that shit. I hope nobody is intending to "respect the office" or any of that shit. I hope we are all intending to be as gracious as every Republican has been since Trump came on the scene.
Be bitter. Revel in it. It might actually be kind of fun being the ones who don't give a fuck if the niceties are respected.

A cunt's gotta cunt, and that's what happened here, collectively.

The Hill said The Democrats don’t even realize that their celebrity endorsements and peddling out celebs like crazy actually works against them, not for them. They said someone told Kamala’s people it would backfire but they didn’t listen.

I think Trump probably would have beat every Dem but Kamala was a bad choice. She was a disaster in 2020 but even this better Kamala never could come up with any new policy ideas. She was the not Trump candidate, that’s it.

This is far more shocking to me than his win in 2016. So many people just want to watch it all burn. It's a politics of grievance, and it's unfortunately very potent—even more potent than I previously imagined.

And I'm wondering if maybe we should join them in that desire. It's actually a little odd to have progressives be the only ones giving a shit about the country's institutions. Maybe we take a break from that for awhile, and let wingnuts either have their way, as the country is determined to do, or watch the whole fucking thing collapse.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | November 6, 2024 6:39 AM |
Meh.
Maybe a period of unbridled insanity and fascism, a collapsed global economy, unstoppable climate catastrophe and untold global millions starving in the streets is what we need.
R10, Trump will not leave in four years. He is in for life. And he will live a very long time.
They will hand the throne, which is what it will be, to Jr. Mint. Jr. Mint will be dragged from the White House, his severed cock shoved down his screaming throat, his carcass gutted on the lawn and his head paraded through Georgetown. But I'm not sure that's not too little, too late.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | November 6, 2024 6:39 AM |
I’m just entertained at how Dems are shocked a good amount of Gen Z guys voted red when the media even kept warning us of this for a year. And guess what Dems did (including on here), scoff at it. “Oh please!”

I feel stunned. Dumbfounded.
I'm going to clean my house tomorrow, a deep clean. Then I'm going to set some personal goals to improve my life.
His last term I became too preoccupied. Every event felt like "This is it! Now he'll be removed" but it never happened. I need to disengage from him for as long as possible.
And you know what? I'm going to hope those Red state mother fuckers get what's coming to them. They're too stupid to vote for their own interests. One of the young women who died in Texas because of abortion bans came from a big pro-life family. The mother was angry that they wouldn't "help the miscarriage along." Well, that there is a gut-wrenching consequence to their own actions. Now her daughter is dead.
They apparently won't learn a thing unless it's slapped upside their head repeatedly.
Let them lose it all.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | November 6, 2024 6:41 AM |
There was no reaching them r45. The best anyone could hope is that they wouldn't actually vote, as usual. Apparently they wanted to fuck around and find out, and now I guess they will get their wish. So let it be written, so let it be done.

Newsom was not the answer if we’re assigning blame to shoplifting, migrants and welfare for asylum seekers. They would have destroyed him on his record in CA. I say this baffled because I’m still trying to square how we lost but I don’t see Gavin or Josh winning this one. Josh may have carried PA but not GA, AZ, NV.
R53 I would bet good money that a living human never told any young man that he had to date a trans person but I would also bet good money that the podcasts they listen to told them that “they” wanted them to.

I hope the Bidenists understand something
Harris ran the best campaign she could given the enormous disadvantage she was presented with.
That being said,
My thinking was the fact that she put herself forward showed Harris’s political instincts trailed her ego. She was not a good vice president, a trainwreck in many respects, and I believe that if she was indeed invested in preventing a Trump presidency she would have taken herself out of consideration when Biden stepped down. It should have been a white man because her sex and color would always be a handicap.
When she was endorsed by Biden and given the clear path to the nomination, I said that she would not win. I gradually saw her talent and contributed, and even believed that she would win. But my original political instincts were apparently better than hers.
There is only one villain here. It is Joe Biden. He is just as sick, corrupt and power-crazed as Trump. Biden misled Democrats into thinking he would be a one-termer, he did not sic Justice on Trump, he appointed a vagina of an Attorney General and he did not step down even though it was obvious as far back as the midterms that he would likely not win.
The fact the Democrats could not see the damage he was doing to the party suggests that maybe we do deserve this loss. I was accused of being a Cassandra but people forgot that Cassandra was actually telling the truth about the Greeks in the horse.
If you supported Biden’s re-election, and yelled and insulted people who warned you otherwise, called them Boris or posted fucking Lucille Bluth gifs, we are here because of you. The party is truly broken if we couldn’t call a senile old fool a senile old fool.
Newsom ‘28

It's been kind of surprising to me that the media seems so blase about Trump winning. Maybe his craziness has been normalized. It's something I have thought about, and I am not going to obsess over what he does in the presidency. He's going to be chaotic with all the usual infighting, just like the campaign that he just ran and for some reason won, even though he ended so poorly. His voters are really ignorant. Kamala actually offered solutions for the middle class, when he has none. I am just going to tune him out and hope he doesn't lead us into WW3. Someone said tonight that America is no longer special, and that's completely the truth. The country just elected a mentally unfit person - good luck with that.

When the Trumptards started wearing T-shirts that said "Real Men Wear Diapers," one knew they would call ANYTHING Trump said or did "manly."
Sexual assault is "manly." Free school lunch programs are "sissy." Acceding to Putin in Ukraine and dissing NATO is "manly." Helping Ukraine remain independent is "weak." Adultery with a porn actress is "masculine." Advisor to a school LGBTQ group is, well, come on now.

The spell Trump has the country under is that he has revealed like toto that our sacred republic is smoke and mirrors. He is a charlatan but his transparent charlatanness is somewhat less offensive to people when they see a longtime politician like Biden or a hype-creation like Harris say they are going to fix problems no one can fix because the government is so dysfunctional.
There are some good things that could come out of this.
A) Harris was unlikely to be an effective president, would have entered the presidency unable to pass meaningful legislation and would almost certainly have lost in four years, with the potential of DeSantis replacing her. DeSantis needed Trump to lose tonight so he could save the party.
B) Trump is so far gone he will almost certainly not fill out his term. I believe it will come from inside. Loose step on Air Force One if you get my drift. We will certainly have President Vance. Vance will never win a national election.
C) The chaos and dysfunction Trump will unleash means we will likely win the next midterms.
D) The power of the Congressional Black Caucus has been dismantled.

No more compassion politics for Latinos. I have always been saying here, stop bringing and supporting people from Latin American countries under communism and left wing dictatorships such as Cubans, Venezuelans and Nicaraguans. Guess what? That was the first thing that Biden did, he created a parole program in which thousands of these people were entering the country, just about any one could sponsor anybody from these countries. People brought all families members from Cuba and these people are not grateful and thankful by culture. I’m Cuban myself, with the solace that I do not have one drop of Cuban blood in my veins. My Galician grandmother used to hate Cubans and said that los cubanos son como los gatos, cierran los ojos para no agradecer ( Cubans are like cats, they close their eyes so they don’t have to say thank you).
Contact the most racist and anti inmigrant maga politicians , and demand the elimination of the Cuban adjustment act. This is the democrat law that has given the Cubans the feeling that they are entitled to be in the US.
Do not try to stop mass deportation. Let Trump do it , accept it and enjoy the show. Do not feel compassion when you see them crying or lamenting that they are been discriminated because of their skin color.
The US has fallen, the BRICS will become more powerful now under Trump.
Men are the ones that will suffer the most, especially straights. They always do. Now they will have no jobs protections, they will be easily fired from there jobs if they have poor heath, they won’t have paternity leave etc. everything that they took for granted will disappear.

The middle class makes over 100 annually now
They are not in trouble. Middle management isn’t going to be replaced by automation.
The working class defected because they do not see an improving nation and the nation is not improving for them because it cannot. That is late stage capitalism. It will destroy the world as we know it.

When the US pulls out of the climate accord again - the rest of the world will eventually give up as there's no point. It's very depressing.

Nancy Pelosi was wrong about that last one, declaring Dems will win the House like it's a fact. She was rarely wrong over the course of her career. But then, she went out of her lane and that was unwise. She's a pro at counting Congressional legislators' votes. Trying to count US citizens' votes, that's an entirely different animal.

R185 The “Other” voted for Trump. Immigrants, Gay, Middle class people voted for Trump. Enough with pointing fingers outside the Democratic party. We lost. Enough with the belief that Trump voters are all racist bigots, it’s not true and it’s not helping us understand what happened.
The Dems need to look INWARDS. Enough with the morality superiority. It doesn’t work with young voters and they’ve been telling us. They despise this type of approach and we need to listen to them.
Enough with letting the extremists of the left be the loudest group. We need to forge a middle ground. We need to listen to the little girls in elementary school who said they are uncomfortable with gender neutral bathrooms. It is not transphobic or any kind of PHOBIC to have an opposing opinion.
The Dems need to wake up. It’s very easy for a conservative party to win votes when things are never addressed within the party. People are comfortable with electing an illiterate convict. That’s how much they do NOT trust the Democratic leadership.
This isn’t the end but let’s wake the fuck up. I will pray for my American friends today.

R265 You’re not American so you may not understand the bind that Dems are in. Though I agree that they must look inward. She did run right. It didn’t work. She never mentioned gender, trans, race. Never insulted his supports. Walked back any remotely left list position. Campaigned with Republicans. The only thing she didn’t do was try to scare the shit of people by saying “you’re son will go to school in the morning and come home as a little girl at 4pm” And if she had, she would have sounded deranged. Trump gets away with it.
Americans say they want leftist economic positions. When they are shown two options without candidate names, they pick Dems every time. She ran on several of those issues that do very well in blind polls. Didn’t work. She loses the base if she becomes a standard bootstraps Republican. Make up shit like Trump did with 400% tarriffs? Again she’d be crucified for that and called a moron as would any Dem.
We’ll have to find a way forward but we cannot beat them at their own game because we are held to a higher standard. Track left - communist. Track right - wishy washy with no core beliefs, a Republican lite, base gone, cannot win a primary. Go crazy populist - deranged lib.

I woke up thinking that a second debate may have helped her. Then I looked at that map showing how red the whole country moved and I changed my mind. People just decided to punish Biden/Harris for everything that pissed them off even though many of those things are made up and many more are problems as old as time. I’d be even more upset if this competent woman wiped the floor with him in two or three debates and still lost.
I also feel for Joe Biden. He was very good domestically. His economy is the best in the world. He avoided recession when the economists were 90% certain that we’d have one. He walked the picked line. He saved union pensions. He passed the chips act. He brought back manufacturing jobs. He forgave student debt for a lot of low income people. He didn’t deserve a massive “fuck you” red wave. Trump did in 2020. But alas.

The Dena need some serious realignment work. They abaondoned the interests of the working class with Clinton and that has continued nonstop since. Working class Americans have seen their real incomes decline for decades while wealth has continued to concentrate in the hands of the few. Dems talked about college loan forgiveness, but ignored trade school and apprenticeships as equal concerns. Dems cozied up to the financial industry. They focused on cultural identify politics. A large swath of Americans, first white and now more Latino and Black working class members, have felt ignored. They stupidly believe that Trump and Republicans are going to represent them, but I think it is as much a reaction against Dems and no other option but the Repubs. Time for some serious rethinking for all.

I've made no secret to them that I was waiting until the election to make decisions about retirement, so it looks like I'm stuck working for the rest of my life, as I'm too young for Medicare (I'll be 63 next month), I'll need my employer's health insurance as Obamacare is probably toast, and Medicare may not even be an option anymore.

It's not petty shoplifting per se. It's the seeming overwhelming nature of marauding gangs of thieves with impunity.
It's not inflation per se. It's the seeming overwhelming nature of the unaffordability of basics.

What he actually promised on the trail was to stop transgender operations which he said were taking place in schools, deport 20 million people, make legal immigrants illegal, no tax on tips, no income tax at all (maybe), ban all vaccines, 400% tariffs on everything, remove fluoride from the water, pay off the national debt with crypto.

This has been very much a case of the slightly lesser of two dismal evils.
Trump oversaw the military coup in Bolivia, the white coup in Brazil, the escalation of Venezuela's embargo and the Juan Guaidó debacle, initiated a trade war with China and imposed sanctions on Nordstream, setting the scene for Biden's sabotage. He also played an instrumental role in financing the Ukrainian government as they were waging war against people in the Donbas, for which Mitch McConnell personally thanked him, and was close to the incredibly evil John Bolton, Mike Pompeo and Liz Cheney, even if they now pretend to hate each other. In addition, he continued occupying Syria, brought the world closer to war with Iran by murdering Suleimani in Iraq and oversaw the largest upward transfer of wealth in history during the COVID disaster. Furthermore, let's not forget that he also lowered taxes for corporations and high income earners, which artificially inflated Wall Street's performance indicators. He IS the establishment and they just dislike him because he is crude and rude, and managed to best the even more horrible Hillary Clinton. That is it.
Harris is just a Clinton cabal puppet, and would have brought us to war much faster than Trump will ever do. She also has a much more radical totalitarian view of society and is much happier to accelerate the repression and censorship wave that has taken over the internet since 2020. She is a creation of the neoliberal donor class and people detest her because she cannot hide the fact that she is a major cog in the corrupt political machinery that has ruined both the US and the world. She's lost because she is so horrible that even a shameless prestidigitator like Trump can manage to look great by comparison.
This is a disastrous situation and we ought to be terrified of how detestable they both are, as well as the vultures that surround them and are salivating at the prospect of destroying the world for profit.

He is one hell of a debater and would have had the younger douchebros swooning over his hypermasc presentation. He would have mopped the floor with Trump in a debate and make him look weak and ineffectual up there next to him. Visuals matter, they mattered in this election.
We've moved into an era where political policies (Trump has NONE) and leanings don't matter much. The Economy wasn't that bad - it's about presentation, how a candidate appears and makes one feel. Yes Harris made a lot of left-leaning people feel happy and good, but unfortunately there were more voters out there who felt that Trump made them somehow feel safer, was a better "leader" (read: better blowhard), would "get things done". This is the new reality and one the Dems MUST confront in the next election cycle. Appearances and vibes.
Biden was able to summon this back in 2020, and eke out a victory over Trump. Voters felt safer with him, felt he could handle COVID better and run the show, given his experience and - let's face it - comforting white Uncle Joe stance.

I'm not a big fan of playing the gender card, but when people say they want their president to be a "leader" who "gets things done" and "keeps us safe," isn't that mostly just code for "a man" (more specifically, a hypermasculine man)? "Uncle Joe" was able to defeat Trump, but two women weren't.
Harris underperformed expectations and poll numbers everywhere. State polls everywhere were way off base. Selzer's Iowa poll was off by 16 points. How can that be? Maybe it's because the expectations and polls were largely modeled after 2020, when a man was running. Maybe it was inevitable that a woman would underperform. Gretchen Whitmer might have faced the same fate.
I'm reading that Harris severely underperformed in a lot of college towns. I think female college students are willing to vote for a man, but many of the male college bros wouldn't be caught dead voting for a woman.

That's why Democrats lost: inflation. Incumbent politicians all over the world are in deep water because of inflation. Yes, many people voted for Trump because of bigotry, but it was not the deciding factor.
Trump's economic policies will only make inflation worse over the next 4 years. Dems will make headway in 2026 and 28 because of it.

at r345: Democrats and others are going to get into a recursive and pointless loop about what went wrong. Yes, Trump killed immigration reform, and his voters do know it. But they don't care about policy. They wanted Trump and his anger and drama, and then just backfilled the reasons.
There is some truth there. Anger and drama seem to be appealing to the majority, competence and calm (Kamala's main traits, when viewed next to Trump) are signs of weakness, to be ridiculed.

Male voters are laser-focused on the economy. Always have been in every election. That's why we saw them shift to Trump in a big way. It was all about inflation. If Trump doesn't deliver on the economy, then they will turn on him guaranteed.
Young males are scared that they will never be able to afford a home because of home prices. If home prices continue to go up(likely), then they will sour on him quickly.

Wow, the graph @ r348 tells quite a story. Why in hell would young men go over in such high numbers to Trump, what exactly appealed to them? What was it about Harris that turned them away. We will need to get to the root of this.
I'm reminded of Scott Galloway - who supported Harris, btw - and his incessant campaign to support young men, to pay attention to their increasing disaffection and unhappiness with modern society. I always dismissed him as a bit of a crank, but will now be taking a longer look at him and his writing. He was onto something out there.

[quote] Why in hell would young men go over in such high numbers to Trump, what exactly appealed to them? What was it about Harris that turned them away.
1. Trump is a man. Harris is a woman.
2. The right wing has been surprisingly effective in reaching out to young men in recent years through social media and podcasts. We always complain about Fox News here on D2L, but young men aren't watching TV news. Young men are being fed MAGA propaganda by social media influencers and right-wing podcasters. Even if they're not actively seeking it out, it's showing up in their feeds, thanks to the algorithms.
by Anonymous | reply 361 | November 6, 2024 5:27 PM |
Galloway was accused by some as being anti-feminist - as he was mildly critical of that movement in that he felt it left young men behind, put too much focus on the growth and development of one young gender over the other, perhaps at a small cost to the other. Many bit back that he was wrong, that the development and support of young women over the past decades was necessary to correct inequalities, that feminism has brought opportunity and growth.
While all of that was true, he merely pointed out that the genders aren't necessarily so separate, that development/support of young girls is fine but that a parallel, well-defined similar movement for young boys is also complementary and actually necessary. That leaving one entire half of the youth population out wasn't a healthy dynamic, supporting the two groups (and those that fall in-between cisgender) isn't mutually exclusive. He cited growing suicide rates of young males, the growing incel problem, and lower college attendance/grad rates of men behind women as bellweather stats and issues. He wasn't blaming feminism or women for it, just noting that successful support movements can be for everyone.
He may be worth taking a look at.

Well, and take it a step further: who gave birth to those young men? If you're a woman living in a state where choice is reasonably to well protected, maybe your son's future matters enough to do this. (Not arguing they're right in their thinking just that's what the thinking might be.)

[quote] Yes but WHY are they latching on to their ideas? 20 years ago, the far right propaganda wouldn’t have worked, no matter the reach.
Because they're mixing in the right-wing propaganda with other topics that appeal to young men, like sports and gaming. You have podcasters or YouTubers who will interview a sports figure or talk about a video game while praising Trump and throwing in some jabs at liberals and "woke culture" at the same time.

I don't think anyone was electable in a 100 day period. Not when you see the groups that turned right. Gen Z bros, Latino men, young black men. The only way to court them in 100 days would be to go on those podcasts and go down to their level. Lie, spread conspiracy, suggest that everything is a deep state plot, get into discussions on trans in bathrooms and vaccines and alternative medicine. That worked for Trump and Vance because the bar is so low for them. Dems would have a fit if a Josh Shapiro said those things. The far left would go crazy, the centrists would panic, the NYT would roast him and after all that the bros would call him a cuck because he's not the 78 year old orange man.

Flannery O'Connor's chilling short story, "The Displaced Person," explores the dark side of human nature.
Set in rural Georgia after World War II, it tells the story of a European refugee hired to work on a farm. The refugee's strong work ethic and unfamiliar ways unsettle both the farm owners and the existing farmhands. This resentment culminates in a horrific act: they deliberately allow him to be crushed by a tractor.

There is apparently a real disaffected, unhappy male youth movement here. One that is so disaffected and unhappy, they embraced the Terror of Trump, over the sane idealism of the Democrats.
It's not about housing prices either - most of these young men are nowhere near ready to marry and start the families that would bring about a house purchase. There is a large number of young males with real social and personal problems out there. They don't date, they don't finish college, they don't complete well with women in the workplace. Their suicide rates have been steadily rising. What's going on? Time for a deeper dive.

Let's just say that this election was men reacting angrily to one party ignoring them and debasing them as racist and misogynistic. The men who work very hard and had to walk on pins and needles lest they address a co-worker by the incorrect pronoun . Who had to accede to the wishes of the new DEI officer ( always a black woman) and attend sensitivity and diversity training to find out that they were all racists because they were white. The men who were told that they were unimportant in this race, because this election was going to be carried by women, so they were ignored. So, they gravitated to the only person who made them feel important and voted for him, despite the fact that they might not have it as good. Hey, at least they were heard; and that's all that mattered. Enough of them and the women who were tired of the same things were heard loud and clear. And that's what you call " owning the libs."

It is an explanation when the young men are spending 6 or 7 hours a day on social media -- more time than they spend interacting with actual people. I'm skeptical there was a much more electable candidate. Like most old dogs, Biden got taken to live on a farm in the country, but it was too late. A mini-primary and everyone would have been emotional and torn apart. Democrats lack the discipline to fall into line when they need to.
She did run a successful campaign in many, many respects and she closed the gap. I was never a big Harris fan. I always felt DL was too easily swayed by her superficial qualities (as DL is always swayed by superficial qualities, hence the calls already for Newsom, without any arguments as to why. Which is the perfect explanation for a Gavin Newsom candidacy.) But I don’t fault her for her performance. It was very strong and the feeling was going in to this, she could do it.
I think the offer and messaging and focus on the economy should have been plainer (rate no tax on tips against opportunity economy) and more fleshed out, while fully thinking the emphasis on democracy and choice was sensible. So if it wasn’t, that’s on the Biden campaign, which became the Harris campaign. Their data didn’t tell them what they needed to know or they failed to heed it.
Even so whatever soul searching the Democrats have to do about their offer, this was in very large part an old fashioned ass-whupping, plain and simple.

[quote]If you can't see how young men are being pretty much wiped out of societal importance to the sole benefit of women, you've been a victim of liberal propaganda. " Bring your daughter to work day," " Women in STEM," Title IX. The list goes on. Just look at some of the posts on DL and you will see proof of some of the generalizations that vilify young men.
But those programs or events don't 'villify' young men. They just don't include them. They're meant to uplift and develop a previously marginalized group, young females.
What's been missing in recent years - after the large success of many of the feminist programs - is a parallel movement for young men, geared towards their needs, which are different from those of young girls.
Close the widening gap, in terms of social and personal growth. Young men and boys are clearly in need, if this election is any indication. A wake up call.

I know that liberals and leftists mock Vance but young far right men love him. He can go on Rogan and talk about being "red pilled" about vaccines and spout extremely online garbage that they eat up.
More than anything - Gen Z and Gen A scare the shit out of me. They were raised by social media. Do they read books or even whole articles? No. Do they have a strong sense of community? No. You see them on the street and they are staring at their phones with headphones on.

The public never warmed up to the Biden presidency because he and Kamala disappeared after the 2020 election and went into hiding. He rarely did press conferences, and was never out there speaking to the voters. Nobody knew what was going on. The press soured on him for the same reasons. Republicans were allowed to run amok with their own narratives because Biden was invisible.
Clinton and Trump were popular because they were always talking to Americans, all the time. People will forgive a lot if you are constantly communicating with them and they feel a real connection to you. If they feel like you're ignoring them, they will turn on you.

I think it reflects poorly on the Harris campaign that she's said nothing for all these hours. It's the same thing as that other time, although I doubt Harris felt so personally entitled.
Still if you propose to be able to lead the United States, and in particular during times of crisis, you better have a crisis plan and remarks prepared in case of the worst case scenario. She should have appeared earlier last night and said hold the faith, let's see where it goes and then got about the business of conceding once it became inevitable. I gather she's already rung him to concede but he's less important than her disappointed voters. I think this looks very feeble.

This is a group that is characterized by alway pursuing the worse possible conditions they can experience and are vulnerable to being manipulated by a small number of men in powers who only purpose is to squeeze as much sweat and blood from them.
The members of this sex always fair better under liberal and progressive rules than they do with conservatives.
Wait until they are easily fired from their jobs because of an injury. When parental leaves for men are taken away. When they lose medical insurance while working under harsh conditions.

Dejected, possibly laid-off democrats stayed home. The "economy" as reported just leaves behind a lot of people who objectively aren't able to compete. Then they see the gov't begging for more immigrants, which is desperately needed to support an economy that they aren't represented in. Our freedoms allow us to leave those underperforming people behind, but those freedoms also allow to vote against the system as they understand it. Most Americans wake up everyday excited to go compete & win whatever they can from whomever they can, no matter their political affiliation. We go to economic war with each other every day.

We were told there was a 30 point gender gap. Bus loads of volunteers on the ground. 900,000 doors knocked. Then the election lies started targeting Philly and Detroit. Then the Russians called in bomb threats. We were told it would take days to count all ballots.
