I think I said it here, that it was risky to get rid of Biden, because he had the advantage of being a white male.

But people thought Kamala would be so much more popular.

But I believe is the Palestinian situation that screwed the democrat party, states like New York, Illinois, New Jersey, Maine all used to be a much darker shade of blue than they are this year, in fact I think only Hawaii, Virginia, Vermont and Massachusetts voted more than 60% democrat. Meanwhile, thankfully Minnesota remained light blue, but Michigan and Wisconsin which used to be very light blue states are now light pink, Kentucky which voted blue in 2020, now has gone back to voting red.

Even Pennsylvania which used to be a liberal state not too long ago, now has swung conservative.

Apparently, Arizona and Nevada are also light pink, instead of loght blue like they had been in 2020. Texas is even more conservative now than it was in the 2010s, Trump had some 58% of the votes there. In West Virginia and Wyoming, the most MAGA states Trump Managed to have more than 70% of the votes, Democrats didn’t get such high approval rate anywhere.

On the bright side, Montana is now less red than it was until 2020, it must be the work of California transplants.
