As an American I just want to say I am sorry, I did all I could to stop Trump.
If you live in a NATO country, now might be a good time to start thinking about a move.

Zelensky will be dead by Christmas.

I saw video of him from yesterday, R4. He looked horrible.

I feel really sad for Ukraine.

Zelensky dead, Ukraine as we know it gone, Putin and N Korea will invade another old Soviet country soon after, the US House as the only hope and I like Jeffries but he’s not Pelosi. I wish we had Pelosi and I’m devastated that her resistance proved futile in the end.

This is what upsets me the most about Trump’s win. Russia will try to annex all of Eastern Europe now. It’s sickening. The world weeps.

Zelensky will flee to Europe by January or he will "negotiate" 70% of the country to Putin. Moldolva will be next for Putin. Sad.

Zelenskyy will not be dead.
Either Europe will have to step up and contribute a lot more to Ukraine, or Trump will be able to force Ukraine to accept the loss of its conquered territory. Then the sanctions will be lifted on Russia, they will rebuild their military, and attack Ukraine again.

Europe doesn’t have the money to send more to Ukraine. The American economy is the best in the world. Many EU countries were recovering from the 08 crash until 2016. Many are heavy dependent on US investment of exporting to the US. They will be terrified tomorrow and their people will not stand for increasing aid to Ukraine. Many countries also have a worse migrant crisis than the US. Ukraine is done. It will chopped up and invaded again and chopped up. Which will cause more migrants to flee to the EU which cannot afford to handle them en masse again and Trump will be slurring into a microphone about some D List celebrities head shape.

Talking out of your ass, r11. Europe doesn't have the money to help Ukraine? Are you aware of just how dirt poor Russia is? France and Germany alone could bankroll Ukraine's war effort, they're just not used to acting without the United States. They can help more and now they'll have to.

[Quote] Europe doesn’t have the money to send more to Ukraine.
Some facts to back that up, please? The GDP of the EU plus UK (which acts with the EU on Ukraine aid) is 22 trillion dollars.
The U.S. GDP is 27 trillion dollars. Are you seriously suggesting Europe can’t provide more aid? That is ridiculous.

Ukraine's biggest problem is the world's: that is, the very real threat that the US will ally with China, Russia and North Korea. Europe probably CAN'T take on all of them.
If the US remains isolationist, Europe can and almost certainly will support Ukraine. But Taiwan and Hong Kong should watch out.
