You can pay extra to put a rush on it, OP.
Mine doesn't expire until 2028.

Why, OP are you going to be traveling? Where are you going? Greece or Italy or somewhere romantic like that?

R2, you’re an absolute imbecile

I'm not retiring in Ohio. I thought about buying a house when my mom kicks the bucket. But I'm going to retire in a few years and get the hell out of this backwater.

Why do passports matter suddenly? What am I missing? Visiting another country? Drunk me curious.

R8 was just thinking about the same thing. I love to travel and am wondering if i could visit a country for 2-3 months and then return to a downsized condo here at home to stay connected for a month or two. And then scoot to another country/or US city for a couple of months and return home. Rinse and repeat. Portugal. Spain. Ecuador. Palm Springs. Rent a modest place. A cute one bedroom in a decent neighborhood. I have to research length of stays allowed and see if it is even possible.

I renewed my passport a year ago, but I'm going to do another renewal after a foreign Thanksgiving trip because the photo is so bad.

I've been nomadic for 3 1/2 years and I will definitely continue for the near future. You get big discounts on Airbnb when you rent for a month or more. Absolutely possible, although returning home in between countries could get expensive. I balance lower cost countries with pricier ones and still pay far less than it would be to stay in the US.

You can’t do that in the EU under a basic tourist visa. R10
There are rules.
