Hell needed another Quisling.
Trump megadonor Bernard Marcus dead on Election Day

Let's hope he's sucking cocks in hell!

Does his vote still count?
by Anonymous | reply 2 | November 5, 2024 2:57 PM |
Depends on which state he lived in. Only a handful of them have laws that nullify your vote if you die before election day.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | November 5, 2024 3:01 PM |
Too late, but I'll take it.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | November 5, 2024 3:04 PM |
He's hanging out in his store restrooms, R1?
by Anonymous | reply 5 | November 5, 2024 3:04 PM |
Couldn't happen to a more deserving fella, excluding the orange tub of goo himself.
Marcus also said in 2022 in an interview with the Financial Times that he was “worried about capitalism” and that because of what he called the spread of “socialism” in America, “nobody works. Nobody gives a damn. ‘Just give it to me. Send me money. I don’t want to work — I’m too lazy, I’m too fat, I’m too stupid.’”
“We used to have free speech here. We don’t have it,” Marcus told the newspaper. “The woke people have taken over the world. You know, I imagine today they can’t attack me. I’m 93. Who gives a crap about Bernie Marcus?”
Not I, Bernie! Except to be sorry that you won't see him lose. 🤞

Did he...take it with him?
by Anonymous | reply 8 | November 5, 2024 3:19 PM |
Nice to see Sheldon Adelson will have some company in hell.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | November 5, 2024 3:20 PM |
But his toupee lives on.
“nobody works. Nobody gives a damn.
Funny. This describes at least 2/3 of any Home Depot worker with whom I’ve ever interacted.
“‘Just give it to me. Send me money. I don’t want to work — I’m too lazy, I’m too fat, I’m too stupid.’”
Also funny. This most likely describes most of his heirs, living off Daddy’s teat and not paying their fair share of taxes.

I wonder how his relationship was with Arthur Blank the co-owner of Home Depot. Blank has donated to Democrats in the past and donated to Harris. Blank seems like a decent guy and he owns the Atlanta Falcons. He's one of the NFL team owners who I wish will at least experience winning a Super Bowl. I would rather someone like Blank holding up a Lombardi trophy instead of the Hunt family who owns the Chiefs.
so the duo hatched a plan to start a new chain that was bigger than traditional hardware stores [bold]with better-trained staff.[/bold] Then, the Home Depot was born.

Good question. Does you vote count if you die ON Election Day? Hasn’t been counted yet, and you aren’t alive anymore.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | November 5, 2024 3:52 PM |
It should. You voted in a lawfully conducted election which allowed you to cast your ballot prior to November 5th.
Say you voted in person on Election Day when the polls open at 8 am and then dropped dead of a heart attack at noontime. Your vote would count.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | November 5, 2024 4:09 PM |
I hope you were saying the same thing last month, R15, when President Carter voted.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | November 5, 2024 4:44 PM |
I was, R16. They're both residents of Georgia (OK, Marcus isn't any longer and I assume Jimmy's still with us) so they'd presumably cancel each other out.

Delicious!
by Anonymous | reply 18 | November 5, 2024 4:56 PM |
The headline made me burst out laughing.
I hate what this country has done to me. I used to be a much kinder person. Now? I laugh when Republicans die.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | November 5, 2024 5:10 PM |
Was he found with his wig in?
by Anonymous | reply 20 | November 5, 2024 5:20 PM |
Same here, r19. I always think that when people feel desperate and disempowered (just look at what trump and the Republicans have manipulated the system to get away with while demonizing us), that's when they turn to violent ideation. I'm sure neither of us would commit violence, but fantasies of them going away by any possible method have basically been our only mental refuge. E.g., So he died? Good. He can't harm us anymore.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | November 5, 2024 5:31 PM |
He's of no use to Trump now at the end of the election. His offering to Satan.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | November 5, 2024 5:41 PM |
Good. He was horrible, horrible person
by Anonymous | reply 23 | November 5, 2024 5:48 PM |
Good.

Another billionaire unable to differentiate between what's good for him is not necessarily good for the nation.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | November 5, 2024 6:11 PM |
As a billionaire, he should have gotten a better toupee
by Anonymous | reply 26 | November 5, 2024 6:12 PM |
Did he actually vote yet? Republicans don’t like early voting.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | November 5, 2024 6:13 PM |
95 and still wearing a wig. Pathetic.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | November 5, 2024 6:24 PM |
When are the rest going to drop one by one like flies in the next 7 days?
by Anonymous | reply 29 | November 5, 2024 7:20 PM |
Mazel Tov!
by Anonymous | reply 30 | November 5, 2024 7:29 PM |
Angry Old White Men: please keep dying.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | November 5, 2024 7:40 PM |
What a terrible toupee. It's so obvious.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | November 5, 2024 8:36 PM |
R4 Not sure if that’s a punishment.
