I got to 18th and the Parkway on Monday about 5:15PM. I hung around until 9:00PM and Harris still hadn't arrived.

I had an hour -long train ride home and got home around 10:15 and turned on the TV. Harris was still in Pittsburgh and just started giving a short speech there. WTF? Did she ever show up?

The signs on the street posts said the streets were to be closed until 11:00PM Monday.

Bob Brady, the crusty old Democratic boss in Philly, actually blamed this rally for potentially irritating voters and suppressing turnout. He said have the streets downtown closed off for hours, on a worknight before a busy Election Day, irritated a lot of people and he heard a ton of complaints about it. Maybe not the best move.
