Who will win Congress

I strongly believe Harris will be President, but..................... who will be in the House and who will win the Senate?

Me. I predict Dems sweep all but with narrow margins.

Agreed though I think Kamala herself will actually have a LANDSLIDE WIN.

House changes hands 7/10.

Senate stays Democrat 3/10.

Harris wins 8.5/10

The Senate majority will be GOP. The House is too close to call.

House will be Dem by at least a couple of seats. Recent good polling for Tester has me thinking of split Senate + Walz.

by Anonymousreply 4November 4, 2024 6:00 PM

House almost definitely yes, Senate likely no. Tester fucked it in Montana.

A divided congress, yet again

OP here. I'm shocked. This is a new America. A more hateful, spiteful America. Not sure we will recover from this. America selected a rapist, convicted felon, liar, and traitor. The America we knew is gone and I'm not sure we can ever return to that world.

r7 Yeah, welcome to the club, we're fully in the fascist phase now. It was bound to happen eventually, it just sucks that it's smack dab in the middle of its 250th anniversary.

It’s definitely not new. That’s absurd to state that it is. At most, it’s a return to 2017-2020 America, hopefully minus Covid.

by Anonymousreply 9November 7, 2024 3:13 PM

I feel the same way R7.

by Anonymousreply 10November 7, 2024 4:43 PM

What’s the latest? Are they still counting votes?

by Anonymousreply 11November 9, 2024 8:33 PM

R11, for the House, the GOP has 212 and needs 6 more to take it. There are 23 races left uncalled.
