I hate Bethenny almost as much as I hate Trump.

I haven't watched a Housewives show since 2020-21, and I used to really enjoy RHONY, but those two Leah seasons were the worst. I don't think I ever finished the season with both Leah AND Ebony. It seemed like Bravo was trying to slowly phase out the older ladies but the shit quality of those two seasons made them simply fire everyone. I have zero interest in an entirely new cast, and I'm not surprised the planned series with Dorinda, Luann, Sonja, Jill, etc never happened. Do Sonja and Luann still live in Manhattan? If so, how?

If I ever want to watch any of the Real Housewives shows, I just tune into the reunion show. It's pretty much a summary of the good parts.

Why bother with an entire season when a 2-hour reunion will suffice.

It's true. This season of RHONY is actually embarrassing to watch. When will Bravo learn that these shows need casts who have some sort of connection to each other? You can't just cast complete strangers in this format. This isn't Survivor or Big Brother.

I know it’s easy for me to say, but I don’t understand how Bethenny’s life is easier now than it would’ve been if you would’ve just stayed on the RHONY. She’s a total attention whore. They would’ve paid her at King’s ransom to stay. It’s only a few months work and keep culturally irrelevant. And more than anyone, she always came out smelling like a rose.

She’s right. The gays are right. End the suffering.

It’s basically a year round job now for these women, r16. They tape the season. Then they have to come back and shoot the confessionals, which continues while the first 1/2 of the season is airing.

If something big like Kyle and Mauricio separating happens right before or during filming, they have to film again.

Then they have to do press for the show and reply to every episode. Then they shoot the reunion. Then they do a round of press responding to the reunion.

Then the speculation about who is returning/leaving happens.If the fans liked the season, they go back into production only a few weeks after the reunion aired. If it needs retooling, they will a little more time off.

Seems like a lot of work for a relatively small paycheck.

Also they make a lot more episodes than the early seasons-the more successful shows show 22 episodes now.

They ALL shit the floor when they went to Colombia. Ramona, however, did this in multiple seasons.
