What happened, did she wake up to the damage she was doing to her career by announcing she would not endorse Harris?

[2]. In regards to Gaga copying Madge…i cannot think of a single time Madonna has performed for a Democratic rally. I can on the other hand recall Gaga performing for Hilary, Obama, Biden and now Harris. Probably because Madge can’t sing Live without autotune. Why else hasn’t she ever been asked to sing the National Anthem or sing at a rally????

It's a very hard song to sing. I doubt Bruce Springsteen could hit the high notes.

Tina Turner could have sung it, probably. At some point, Tina gave up her US citizenship.

The anthem is more emotional when sung with long sustained notes and a powerful delivery . In regards to the Stones and Elton they are. British not American. Also the Stones? Katy will be performing in Pittsburgh, Pa tomorrow but I don’t know what time or where. The Philadelphia show will be streamed everywhere.

All Gaga stans are on the left anyway. So it doesn't matter when she endorses. Taylor is the important one for getting moderates to vote blue. And Taylor came through.

But Gaga is a great live performer. Wonder what she'll sing?

The National Anthem is supposed to be a song in honor of the country, not an exercise in vocal masturbation which it has become with all of these "singers" thinking that they are putting on a concert. Give me this any day.

Performing the National Anthem is so off brand for Madonna that she was like never asked and wouldn’t have accepted if she was.

Disregarding the fact that it’s a hard song to sing well. even for people with great voices, it’s just not something I could ever see the always-edgy Madge doing.

Why Madonna hasn’t performed other songs at rallies and fundraisers I couldn’t tell you but none of her music really suits those types of events. While Madonna has always been political in a cultural sense, using her music to comment on issues such as religion, gender, sex, and culture, she’s never been a creature of politics and I don’t remember her ever making major comments on political races or candidates.

God knows she has probably never given any large donations, she seems like the type to be stingy with her money when it comes to causes and campaigns.

What it all probably comes down to is that Madonna has only ever been truly and deeply concerned with herself, largely her image and her career.
