No, "Gen Z employees" are not calling out "too mentally unwell to cope with work" 20% of the time.

OP and R2, I went and read the details. This is what it is claiming,

"The health and life insurance company Vitality found that Gen Z employees in the UK reportedly lose an average of 54 productive days per year, clocking into work every day but not operating at peak efficiency."

That is very different than calling out "sick" for mental health days, isn't it. And frankly who doesn't operate at less than peak efficiency?
