Warner Bros. is releasing Clint Eastwood’s final (presumably) film in 50 theaters with no plan for wider release.
This won’t help Nicholas Hoult’s reputation for having really bad luck.

Rude way to treat a leading light at their studio for many decades, who produced many money-making hits. He's not producing blockbusters like he used to at his age, but his films come in on time, under budget and still almost always make a small profit.
This is the doing of David Zazlav and the other corrupt bean counters who took over WB and are gutting it in every way, creatively and financially. Clint would do well to take himself over to an indie studio, if he has any more films in him. There would be some appreciation there, for his methods.

Seems like a strange choice - the economics of this situation must be byzantine for them to do this.
I can't imagine this makes financial sense for Warner.

He's age 94 and seemingly healthy and sharp. Every additional year is a blessing at this point.
