after Trump didn’t do that for him?
If Trump wins, will Biden shake hands and transfer power to him

He won't win. He will get his MAGA base and that's it. I'm nervous about the fall out and Magat violence. Plus, all Trump's schemes to take power.

Yes. I heard today that Biden has said that he will be present at the inaugural of whoever wins, because he believes in the peaceful transfer of power.
I'll see if I can find something in print.

Took all of 15 seconds to find. Though it doesn't mention, as Biden has class while Trump has none, I'm sure he'll shake his hand.
Hoping it's a moot point, though.

Not gonna happen

And as soon as Trump is sworn in (please god no), he will have Biden, Harris and other Democrats arrested.

If Trump wins then yes I believe Biden will do all the right things and make all the expected gestures of goodwill during the peaceful transfer of power.
Would Trump? Absolutely not as he has already proved.

[Quote] he will have Biden, Harris and other Democrats arrested.
He has no power to do that, whether he wants to or not.

Yes, Biden would do that.
And then, later, Trump will make fun of him for doing so.
and our MAGA conservative pals will say: we didn't vote for a nice guy (clearly); we voted for the economy.

Agreed R7. That's just silly hysterical talk R5. Not possible. Th outcry from the rest of the western countries would be cacophonous.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | October 30, 2024 11:13 PM |
Do you really think Trump gives a rat's ass about what other western countries think of him or his actions? His whole "brand" is based on flipping the bird to US allies in western Europe.
And in Novrmber of 2020, did you ever think that January 6th 2021 was even a remote possibllity? Hell, back then, Michael Cohen opined that since he lost the election, Trump would simply leave for Mar a Lago for the Christmas holidays and never return. If only.
Yoy're underestimating Trump and his henchmen which is stupid AND foolish.

R10 You're letting your hate for Trump bleed over onto some guy just stating an opinion. You've swallowed Trump's anger and made it your own.

[quote]He has no power to do that, whether he wants to or not.
He sure as fuck does!

That is the least of my concerns, Biden is a good guy so he probably will but I wouldn't blame him in the least if he didn't. Trump might have Biden arrested right there on the spot.

Oh look. Another Trump thread.

If Trump wins Biden should pardon his son and many others. Why not? He’ll be at the inauguration but I can’t imagine any other President but maybe Bush would show.

Trump will never arrest Biden or any other major figure. He’s a huge coward and would be terrified he’d be arrested when his term ends. if Harris wins though, she should think about pardoning Trump later in her term. Make a deal with him to shut him up.

And then Biden will have the FBI shoot Trump AND Vance and let the Supreme Court figure it out,
At least it won't be Trump or Vance. All done as the Protected President of the US.

Biden will shake his hand. And smile and applaud him at his coronation. And so will Harris. And the Obamas. And the Clintons. And they will all quickly fade away, abandoning "The Big Fight to Save Democracy". Their puzzling new motto will be "Not My Problem Anymore". They will only be in the public eye sporadically, promoting their latest memoirs.
