Could she Catherine Zeta-Jones to Cynthia’s Renée?

by Anonymous | reply 5 | October 30, 2024 10:44 PM |
Never gonna happen.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | October 30, 2024 10:57 PM |
Can SOMEONE please tell me if this film will be in two parts? They said so at first but now it sounds like it'll be one movie. What gives?
by Anonymous | reply 8 | October 30, 2024 11:53 PM |
It’s 2.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | October 30, 2024 11:55 PM |
Why is Ariana Grande in whiteface for this role?
by Anonymous | reply 10 | October 30, 2024 11:55 PM |
This dreck better make a buck for the studio or heads are gonna roll.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | October 31, 2024 12:13 AM |
Never gonna happen. And in the unlikely event it does, she can go to the Vanity Fair afterparty with the Menendez boys.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | October 31, 2024 12:31 AM |
r10 Ariana is white.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | October 31, 2024 12:43 AM |
[quote][R10] Ariana is white.
Which just makes the whiteface makeup that much more confusing.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | October 31, 2024 12:57 AM |
Ariana’s Oscar buzz comes from Ariana. A very ambitious little thing.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | October 31, 2024 11:12 AM |
It also comes from paid studio shills giving "honest reviews". The declarations of how "awesome!" this movie and the two leads ( 🤮 ) are, are worded pretty much the same. It will be interesting when some non-sponsored, non-PR related reviews come out.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | October 31, 2024 11:25 AM |
Yeah, nah.

Ariana looks ill to me...
by Anonymous | reply 19 | October 31, 2024 12:25 PM |
There’s always Oscar buzz around the most famous. There was Oscar buzz around Lady Gaga’s “House of Gucci”, Jennifer Lopez’s “Hustlers” too
by Anonymous | reply 20 | October 31, 2024 12:47 PM |
Galinda?!?
by Anonymous | reply 21 | October 31, 2024 1:01 PM |
The character’s name is Galinda and his changed to Glinda in the story. Yes, this is in 2 parts. And Grande was mentioned in Variety’s Oscar predictions weeks ago. In Best Supporting though she should be nominated as Best Lead Actress.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | November 15, 2024 6:42 PM |
I'm really looking forward to what a complete flop this is going to be.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | November 15, 2024 6:53 PM |
It would amuse me to see only Grande get an Oscar nom just to see Erivo’s head explode all over social media.
Their P.R. for part two would be something else!
by Anonymous | reply 24 | November 15, 2024 7:22 PM |
Hard to believe, but I wouldn't have believed she'd be one of the best hosts of recent years on SNL, so who knows.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | November 15, 2024 7:32 PM |
Reneé beat Catherine at the Globes (they elevated CZJ to Best Actress for some reason).
by Anonymous | reply 26 | November 15, 2024 8:37 PM |
I'm sick of this bobblehead. She always has a deer-in-headlights look, and she's now bony and definitely anorexic.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | November 15, 2024 8:41 PM |
I'm boycotting this because she couldn't get her brother a role. He would've been PERFECT as a flying monkey.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | November 15, 2024 8:54 PM |
She MIGHT get a nom but that’ll be it.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | November 15, 2024 9:26 PM |
She won’t get shit. This film, like the musical and book, will be awful.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | November 15, 2024 9:49 PM |
You queens that are always hoping for a movie to flop-there’s really something mentally wrong with you. Projecting your self-loathing and hatred of your own pathetic life. It’s so obvious and so sad.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | November 15, 2024 10:02 PM |
If she acts 1/2 as bad as she "sings," it's going to be trouble for this movie.
R31: the sign on the front door says: Pointless bitchery. Which of those words do you not understand?
Kindly fuck off, rancid cunt @R31.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | November 15, 2024 10:49 PM |
R31 is retarded. Like Fankie GRANDE level retarded. In fact, so retarded I can't help but think it IS retard Fankie (who, by the way, is pissed as FUCK he's not in the movie).
by Anonymous | reply 33 | November 15, 2024 11:28 PM |
Why aren't they advertising it as a musical? Or a two-parter?
by Anonymous | reply 34 | November 16, 2024 1:57 AM |
R31= Ugly as sin Erivo.
Anyway, Angelina is winning as "Maria."

Someone hold my wig.
I'm gonna cut this bitch.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | November 19, 2024 12:42 PM |
Erivo will certainly get one. Grande Latte will be completely ignored because a little Ariana goes a long fuckin’ way.
Grande Latte will also be the reason the box office will drop. No one‘s gonna want to see that movie twice.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | November 19, 2024 12:58 PM |
Ariana's eyes look like she's in pain... what's up?
by Anonymous | reply 38 | November 19, 2024 11:19 PM |
I've heard that Mikey Madison in Anora is the one to beat.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | November 19, 2024 11:50 PM |
Haha her retard bruvver hasn't worked in two years, and he doesn't have a Wicked credit nowhere nohow.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | November 20, 2024 2:50 AM |
She’s being frauded into the supporting category.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | November 20, 2024 2:52 AM |
[quote] She’s being frauded into the supporting category.
Exactly.
Ariana's scary anorexic/bulimic face is all over the media ads and trailers for this movie.
She is CLEARLY a lead actress in this movie.
To pretend that she's anything else, is just a LIE.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | November 20, 2024 2:59 AM |
Makes no difference to the Academy voters R42, et al. She may get a nomination but will barely chart in the votes.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | November 20, 2024 3:17 AM |
Oscars for everyone!
by Anonymous | reply 44 | November 20, 2024 4:20 AM |
r31 = Lady Gaga
by Anonymous | reply 45 | November 20, 2024 4:20 AM |
NEITHER OF THESE BITCHES SHOULD GET THIS.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | November 20, 2024 4:30 AM |
Sorry, but no one with a GREEN PUSSY will EVER win an Oscar!
by Anonymous | reply 47 | November 20, 2024 6:28 AM |
Idina and Cheno were both nominated for Best Actress at the Tonys.
If the Academy really does love the movie and thinks they're both great in it, then they should award Grande this time and Erivo when Part 2 comes out, because assuming it's fairly faithful to the stage show, Elphaba is more central in Part 2.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | November 20, 2024 2:45 PM |
Erivo has cunted enough that it may have cost her any nom.
Which will just result in more accusations of racism and other isms. And the spiral never ends.....
by Anonymous | reply 49 | November 20, 2024 2:47 PM |
Marianne Jean-Baptiste is supposed to be wonderful in Hard Truths R49 if she makes it in and Ervio doesn’t I don’t think she could claim that.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | November 20, 2024 2:59 PM |
Hortense Cumberbatch? What a funny name.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | November 20, 2024 3:06 PM |
170 minutes? And still part two to come......
by Anonymous | reply 52 | November 20, 2024 3:23 PM |
I am so fucking sick of the non-stop marketing of this movie. It probably won't flop but I wish it would.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | November 20, 2024 3:26 PM |
Cynthia bullying that fan on instagram for making a fanart and acting so dramatic really turned me off. Nutty bitch.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | November 20, 2024 3:27 PM |
Ariana's film debut is the most stunning since Barbra Streisand in Funny Girl and Madeline Kahn in What's Up, Doc?
by Anonymous | reply 55 | November 20, 2024 4:31 PM |
No Oscar for either one. After their offscreen antics, this movie is a dead fish after a twenty year wait. If Hollywood were really that enamored with them as all the nauseating press would have you believe, they would have been on the Vanity Fair cover and would appear on shows and networks not owned by Comcast/ Universal.
There have been plenty of actresses of color who have played Elphaba who were also far more talented. Why did they have to pick one who is constantly playing the victim card and still thinks she is in a Harriet Tubman biopic? That one was supposed to get her an Oscar too. Then, a bleached blond American hating, doughnut licking homewrecker who looks and sounds like a nine year old addicted to cocaine. She threatened to have a suicidal meltdown and spill the secrets she knows if she didn't get cast as Glinda. If her music was that good, she would have a recording contract with a major record label, not having to produce and release her own shit.
Bailey knows the score. That's why he's out whoring himself for stage parts again. Jurassic Park 13 looks and sounds like another dud. Universal would be joining the likes of Warner Brothers and Paramount soon if it weren't for their theme parks.

The movie is sold out tonight (Wednesday) at the theater down the street from me so that doesn't portend a flop. It's not even Thanksgiving this week.
