I saw her on Broadway in Blood Brothers....Sean & David Cassidy played her sons. She was terrific.

Told this story here before: I saw her in Mary Poppins, trotting out of stage right singing "Feed The Birds". I had no idea she was in it, let alone song that song, and ugly cried immediately. I'm pretty fucking gay, but that was one of the gayest moments of my life.

I saw Petula in "Sunset Boulevard" when it played in San Francisco. She was wonderful in it, and I'm sure Glenn gnashed her teeth over it.

She looks really good there.

R8 Thanks to me!

I keep forgetting how ancient she is. I mean, she was in I KNOW WHERE I'M GOING with Wendy Hiller and that film was made like 80 years ago.

One of the few people alive today whose fame cannot be denied.

Why this woman isn’t a Dame yet is beyond me

^That's surprising, r12.

Looks like a campaign to make that happen for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee didn't go.

The queen never called her.
