Helping Kamala Harris, Mike Johnson Vows to Kill Obamacare
No Obamacare?” one attendee asked Johnson, referring to the law Democrats passed in 2010, also known as the Affordable Care Act.
“No Obamacare,” Johnson responded, rolling his eyes. “The ACA is so deeply ingrained, we need massive reform to make this work and we got a lot of ideas on how to do that.”

Fuck obamacare. It's not even affordable to poor people. Just designed to make more money for big insurance companies.

This hateful little freak also wants to fix it so insurance companies can deny you coverage or drop you from your policy for pre-existing conditions.

Which is why it merges with Medicaid on the poor and indigent level.
People who say that Healthcare Exchanges are too expensive, are either liars or make too much money for a no-premium plan. Plus, if your circumstances change drastically, you can enroll anytime. Moses Mike is a nasty little fucker who probably receives cash from the Southern Baptist Conference directly. The SBC needs to be audited for money laundering.

Let's not forget that Dump promised a big, beautiful, healthcare plan that everyone will love during his first term in office. Now, nine years later we learn he has CONCEPTS of a healthcare plan. If there really was a BIG, BEAUTIFUL healthcare proposal out there, I don't think anyone would give a hoot if the Affordable Care Act was repealed. But there is not. Concepts and ideas do not make for a plan.

Their "plan" is for only the ultra wealthy to be able to afford anything other than Pepto Bismol or band-aids. Their "plan" is to make you a slave until you die from lack of medical care.
Here's Moses Mike, spelling out their "plan". If you vote for these evil pricks, you are a fool.
"October Surprise: Speaker Johnson lets slip him and Trump's "secret" is to repeal the Affordable Care Act and pre-existing conditions protections in first 100 days"

Ironically, Obamacare was originally proposed by the GOP. The Heritage Foundation developed the idea, and the GOP presented it as the challenger to HillaryCare. Then Romney passed it in Massachusetts.
The reason why the GOP can't come up with an alternative is that this IS the GOP's plan--keeping private insurance, relying on markets to determine pricing, mandating everyone buy insurance to keep money in the system to pay for care. The second Obama proposed this exact idea, suddenly the GOP jumped against it.
While it has stabilized prices for the time being, ACA is just a band-aid that won't hold prices much longer. The only viable option is single payer, like almost every other developed country has adopted--far cheaper, better outcomes, covers everyone.

He better watch out--because Americans, especially the hicks that he represents--now approve of ACA by a majority. They have seen first hand how it has saved lives.
Any GOP change would center around taking healthcare away from people to increase medical industry profits.

If Trump wins, all the poor deplorables that voted for him will get smacked hard with "surprise" after "surprise."
The ACA will go, and Social Security and Medicare will be diminished if not entirely dismantled.
With migrants deported and immigrants walled off from our country, inflation will soar - produce, beef and dairy will soar in prices due to labor costs.
Not that it matters to Republicans or Trump, who will just use it as an excuse to blame those things on Democrats, too.

The Democrats need to win this thing and when they do they need to start actually governing. Should the dumb be able to vote to have their healthcare made off limits to themselves. Should the dumb be able to vote for a border all around themselves. Yes. These are natural consequences to their state of being.. Should the dumb be able to vote for the rest of us to have our heath car made unobtainable. Should the dumb be able to vote for a border wall around the whole nation?, no, they shouldn't be able to vote for the non dumb. We really need to change this electoral college system. Why isn' t it a priority!

To govern, the Dems need to win the House AND the senate. Republicans for Harris are fed up with Trump but will still vote R down ticket. The Dems need to come in at an overwhelming majority so there won’t be egotistical-spoilers like Manchin and Sinema screwing up. Only then can Harris effectively govern.

Before Obamacare, I could not obtain quality insurance at a reasonable price because I ran my own business and did not quality for any group plans. Since I went through the Affordable Care Act, I was able to have the surgery I couldn't afford because of my preexisting medical condition. Since I've been diagnosed with dementia, I've had no problem maintaining a policy that hasn't become more expensive because of this condition.
I would have gone bankrupt and will have to sell my house in order to pay the hospital bills. I wouldn't be alone. Is this what you people who want to repeal really want? What if it happened to you?

My Trump-lovin' sister quit her job and essentially 'retired'. As an afterthought, she got an Obamacare plan. Flash forward two years and she developed breast cancer. Months of expensive treatments that would have devastated her and her retired husband financially. They would have literally lost the farm.
Oh, and she has had two abortions: one as a teen, another for a surprise late-40's pregnancy.

I think we’ve already seen how the repeal of Roe in the Dobbs decision has obviously been an absolute disaster of intended and unintended consequences.
Giving these people the responsibility over our entire healthcare system would be a disaster of even more epic proportions with even greater urgency. And the way they would deal with those consequences would be to just deny them.
We know this.
