France's 2024 Eurovision representative accused of sexual harassment
All that "is he gay or isn't he?" speculation laid to rest now.
[quote]A former technician on his tour lodged a complaint against the singer, alleging sexual harassment. The alleged acts were committed on the night of 17 to 18 December 2023 at the Zénith in Saint-Étienne. This was the sixth date of the tour, which had started eighteen days earlier and would take a break over the Christmas period. After the show, Slimane and his artistic team organised a small party backstage to mark the end of the first leg of the tour.

[quote]According to the complaint, it was once the stage and set had been dismantled, at around 1 a.m., when the technician returned to the party that he was "pinned against a wall" by the artist, who "forced himself on him". Slimane explained to him that he wanted to have sex with him. The plaintiff replied that he was not interested, that he was heterosexual and married, but the singer insisted and dragged him into his dressing room.
[quote]"My client was very uncomfortable and repeated that he wasn't interested, but the artist insisted and asked him if other members of the team would be as well. My client left the dressing room in a hurry and got on the tour bus. He thought he had finished, but during the night, from his bed in the tour-bus, the artist sent him a multitude of sexual and even pornographic messages and videos over a period of two and a half hours".

He’s a decent looking guy that doesn’t have to force himself on anybody, Instead, he preys on one reveres straight guys. I worked with someone just like this and he’d be especially smarmy around teen boys, fawning and lauding them with praise.
Most do it in a down low way of plausible deniability, mixed message, or “just kidding” so they can deny it later. There’s also a sharp thread of narcissism that they and what they want are far more important than the other individual and push back with HOW DARE you question them or their intentions.
He was especially dangerous because I managed him and the sexual harassment was also documented in that he sent pornigraphic links to a straight client of himself. They are counting on the straight guy to be too embarrassed or ashamed to file charges!
