Although I've given up on Steve's music years ago I find her thoughts on death are refreshingly progressive. She sees herself only only living 15 more years.
Great interview that gets you up-to-date on how she keeps herself busy. Thoughts?

I hope the Landslide doesn't bring her down.

I bought her Stand Back treadmill off of eBay. She gave me free shipping.

15 years seems on the generous side, not that I don’t want her around. Love her.

The web is her own.

She looks like the witch in a Sondheim show.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | October 28, 2024 11:51 PM |
Her thoughts on dying were the only good part of the interview.
She is an egomaniac.

91 is ambitious but hope she makes it.

Stevie Nick’s
Oh, dear
by Anonymous | reply 8 | October 29, 2024 12:04 AM |
It’s a miracle she hit 70.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | October 29, 2024 12:05 AM |
Long after she’s dead, she’ll still be kicking cunt bones on DL.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | October 29, 2024 12:06 AM |
Yes? Stevie Nick's what wants to die?
Her assistant with the PTSD from blowing coke up that well-worn asshole?

Will she be cremated?

R3 I took as she calculated she has another 15 based on her parents death aged but doesn't want to stick around that long.

Her parents died at the average life expectancy for both genders so i don't know why she assumes she'll live into her 90s. No wonder she's not afraid of dying, she thinks it's not going to happen.
Sorry toots, you're old. It could happen tomorrow and no one would be shocked.

On a side note, I had always heard that her father Jess who died at the age of 80 was vice president of Amour and Greyhound. I used to think he was executive of two separate companies simultaneously, one being maker of hot dogs and the other the national bus line.
But it turns out Greyhound Bus bought out that meat packing plant. That's just a weird acquisition to me.

She needs to take a Weedwhacker to that rat's nest on her head and develop a new hairdo like that kid in Texas has.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | October 29, 2024 12:27 AM |
She just did a great interview with CBS This Morning about her abortion and standing up for reproductive rights.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | October 29, 2024 12:38 AM |
Only one?
by Anonymous | reply 19 | October 29, 2024 12:42 AM |
Well, yeah, she’s already at those 15 years older now, so I guess she wins…

r18 I love that!

Christine McVie caving in at 79, after Tom Petty dropped dead a few years prior, really shook Stevie up. I get it. She did a ton of coke from ‘76 to ‘87 and is blessed to be fit enough to tour now at her age.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | October 29, 2024 12:48 AM |
She was doing so much coke at the time, it's a good thing she had an abortion. That kid would've been all fucked up.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | October 29, 2024 12:48 AM |
Love her. Hope she does make it to 90 and goes out kicking some dumb shit in the cuntbone.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | October 29, 2024 12:49 AM |
I’d be afraid of the type of dementia Bruce Willis has. Coke and klonopin must do a job on your brain’s architecture and physiology.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | October 29, 2024 12:53 AM |
Damn, I should have done this BEARKING!!
by Anonymous | reply 26 | October 29, 2024 12:53 AM |
She really is her own worst enemy. Work on another album? Nobody gives a shit, STOP any new music and start winding your life up you silly bitch. Write a book, publish your poems, create an art installation of your drawings and sketches. But STOP the lowest common denominator cycle of touring and recording. Those days are over. She doesn’t even want to live beyond 85, so figure it out Stephanie.

It's a wig, but yeah, she does need a new wig.
I'm starting to think that she wore wigs most of the time, even when young.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | October 29, 2024 1:57 AM |
Well, big deal. We all want her to die. Why should she be any different?
by Anonymous | reply 30 | October 29, 2024 2:14 AM |
r26 No, absolutely not
by Anonymous | reply 31 | October 29, 2024 2:16 AM |
Time cast a spell on her, but we won't forget her.

Her real name is Stevia Knicker'sbocker, you know.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | October 29, 2024 2:36 AM |
Ugh, like, hurry up you old bitch and like die already. I'm, like, sick of having to, like, you know, act like you're my mentor. It's, like, exhaaaaausting.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | October 29, 2024 2:51 AM |
I can't wait to see her do Stand Back, on the treadmill, when she's in a wheelchair.

There’s so many unexplored themes she’s bypassed as an aged rocker. Maybe another genre would allow a singer to frankly address wrinkling, sagging, surgery, menopause, etc.

Senior Citizen Contemporary

It made me sad . I saw a film about the last days of Harry Nilsson - major drug addict and knew he wasn’t long for this world . A close friend described the night before he died: “ he drove me to a beach - or somewhere - he parked and then played most of his songs on an eight track — when they were completed , he said something like— it’s been a great ride - thanks for sharing it”
I’m obviously just paraphrasing — it was so touching — he knew he was about to die but enjoyed hearing his songs one last time with his close friend “ I am overly sentimental — as my kids would say, emphasis on the mental
