From Wikipedia: "Mary Lambert was born in Helena, Arkansas, the daughter of Martha Kelly and Jordan Bennett Lambert III, a rice and cotton farmer. Lambert graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a B.F.A."
This little hillbilly Arkansas badass bitch went on to direct FIVE iconic Madonna videos! "Borderline," "Material Girl," "Like A Virgin," "La Isla Bonita," and "Like A Prayer."
She also directed Janet Jackson's "Nasty" video as well as the video for "Control."
Other music videos include Eurythmics' "Would I Lie To You," Sheila E's "The Glamorous Life," The Go-Go's "Turn to You" and Sting's "We'll Be Together" as well as videos for Queensryche, Motley Crue, Lionel Ritchie, Chris Isaak, and Fred Schneider.
Mary Lambert also directed Steven King's "Pet Sematary" and it's sequel!
If you love Mary Lambert's work as much as I do, let me know!
