Prop 1 hopes to bring NY constitutional equality to a number of groups. The ballot says:
Adds anti-discrimination provisions to State Constitution. Covers ethnicity, national origin, age, disability, and sex, including sexual orientation, gender identity and pregnancy. Also covers reproductive healthcare and autonomy.
A “YES” vote puts these protections against discrimination in the New York State Constitution.
A “NO” vote leaves these protections out of the State Constitution.
The GOP, of course, is running against this by saying it will force schools to accept trans athletes. "Save Our Daughters!!" This is BS but when is the GOP known for telling you the truth.

The right just wants to assure that no minority gets legal protections so white people can discriminate without fear of penalty

Prop 1 should be a Yes.
Props 2-6 should be a No. They were rushed onto the ballot by Eric Adams and, despite their innocent language, are basically a power grab by a crooked mayor.

Prop 1 should be a No. it’s horribly written and you can’t read the text of the entire resolution. MAGAs being against it doesn’t actually make it good. I’m sure it will pass because it has all the right buzzwords but it’s a horrible addition to the constitution. Adams is a crook but the City Council is worse and could use pushback. I’m voting no for 1, yes on 2 and won’t vote for the rest at all.

R5, that's bullshit and typical right wing BS to call it "horribly written."
In fact the text of the entire resolution is linked below.

Yes indeed, we too use "cookies." Take a look at our privacy/terms or if you just want to see the damn site without all this bureaucratic nonsense, click ACCEPT. Otherwise, you'll just have to find some other site for your pointless bitchery needs.
