Hey gays, do you remember how excited you were 30 years ago when Kylie Minogue of Melbourne, Australia, launched her indie pop career with this stunning track? She was 26 and in full creative control for the first time after leaving the Stock Aitken Wateman factory.
Some say the song inspired Human Nature by Madonna, the song recently murdered by Sam Smith.
In the UK this was the 3rd Kylie single to be stuck at number 2 behind Wet Wet Wet.
It regularly features in the top 5 Kylie tracks.

It's a brilliant song.
She also does a version in French.

There are nearly two dozen versions of "Where is the Feeling?" alone. Brothers in Rhythm did two different sounding single mixes.
The Dolphin Mix was the main single version that was also used for the music video which was filmed in a high school swimming pool in Los Angeles.
The Bish Bosh Mix is an alternate single version (which is more well received) which was released to radio. The acoustic version of "Where is the Feeling?" which was released on the deluxe edition of Kylie Minogue is based on this version.
There are also rare edits of the 7 minute album version and the Bish Bosh Mix which are both promo only. There BIR Soundtrack Mix (which is an extended version of the Dolphin Mix) is 13 ½ minutes long and is quite amazing. Most of these alternate mixes use re-recorded vocals.

Hey OP, I remember the song and, Hey, dude, this gay wasn't excited. It's not awful, but not exciting, either.
A gay. Responding to Hey Gays OP, an overly casual and familiar dipshit.

Thank you R5.
Did you prefer Ace of Base's SHE LEADS A LONELY LIFE, SHE LEADS A LONELY LIFE song?

Frankly I didn't get excited r6 until Can't Get You Outta My Head. A very simple song but a great dance tune.

There is such a wealth of material from this era. There was a remastered 2 CD deluxe edition released (alongside one of Impossible Princess) over 20 years ago.
There was also a record company called Vibe on Records (named after the song from Dannii Minogue's Neon Nights album and run by a bunch of La Toya Jackson fans) that planned on releasing a more comprehensive reissue of Kylie Minogue in 2014 in time for the 20th Anniversary but it ultimately got delayed and then cancelled a couple of years later once Kylie signed to BMG and they helped her acquire the rights to all of PWL and Deconstruction back catalog.
Cherry Red released amazing limited edition reissues of her PWL albums and it's a shame they never got to re-release Kylie Minogue and Impossible Princess.
