Loath that bastard. Never watched one minute of his show. Was glad when my local station did not renew its syndication.

I once saw an interview with Dr Phil and he seemed dismissive in an eye-rolling way of Trump. Can't remember the interviewer. About two years ago. What changed?

Anybody who puts their faith and trust in Dr. Phil deserves whatever happens to them.

Who is responsible for this man's career? Had it not been for Oprah, there would be no celebrity associated with Dr. Phil.

At a certain point - with Dr. Phil, Dr. Oz, Iyanla, James Frey, Nate Berkus, Bob Greene - you got to say Oprah was just craven for the money these people could supply her. Because none of these people were sane or had good ideas.

Oprah has done a lot of good - but she's no saint. I actually don't think she's really that great of a person - but she knows how to manipulate with her charm.

Dr. Phil's syndicated show ended but he's trying another prime time show that will be taped in Texas. It might already be one but I don't give a shit. What we do know is that he felt the freedom to talk like this as his cash cow show has over.

Frankly, the fact that Oprah has launched so many hateful douchebags really makes you think twice about her.

I believe that whatever real fame Dr. Phil once had is long over and he’s in the fiber supplement stage of his career. He’s always been a gassy, old windbag and twenty years ago, concurrent to Judge Judy’s rise to superstardom, that type of content was popular. It does not, however, enjoy the same popularity now.

As he stands now, he’s analogous to Zsa Zsa Gabor in her cop-slapping era, everyone knows who he is and he’ll occasionally pop up in the news but very few people care about him or consume his output.

He’s also Texan and since most chickens go home to roost, this isn’t that surprising. The oldest son Jay is head of Phil’s production company and is married to a Playboy Playmate (she’s a triplet and the two others were Playmates too!) I saw a photoshoot of their house and it looked like a nightclub. That doting wife, Robin, who they tried constantly make happen (are they still married?) has for years looked like one of those Trumpettes who have minosa and Lilly Pulitzer-themed klan rallies at Mar a Lago.

I don’t see this as an endorsement of Oprah’s judgement of character. But it does indeed convict me of what I’ve known deep down my whole life. Hollywood is just a sleazy sleazy place. Always has been. You’re safe to assume that whoever you’re dealing with is a douchebag, until they price otherwise, so you get to be pleasant out surprised. Stop putting celebs on pedestals, they are human and often more broken than most of us. And I’m bust up too. No judgment even. Just understand what you’re dealing with, it’s a town that fucks up humanity.
