She sells used cars. He's done dozens if not hundreds of these videos trying to flog malaise-era monstrosities.
Here she's happy to offer a non-monstrosity 1964 Studebaker Avanti with 7000 miles on the clock.

R1- I know. I posted of video of HER pitching a beautiful ca. 1960 Dodge with fins. I consider the malaise era the 1980's not the 1970's. Because the American auto industry and the cars they built started falling apart in 1980.

Those malaise era vehicles are infinitely better than anything Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram/Fiat/Stellantis are currently manufacturing/marketing.
Which is why their sales are tanking and dealers have a 18 month supply of vehicles rotting away on their lots.

R2 Perhaps, but the term "Malaise Era" signifies the auto industry's early 70's to early 80's when engines were detuned for greater economy (and thus didn't run very well), the seatbelt/starter interlock fiasco, the 5 mph bumpers and the shitty gas mileage. These required investments in technology and manufacturing processes the auto companies hadn't made (and didn't want to make) until forced to by the Clean Air Act and the gas crisis.
My father was a Ford dealer. Trust me, cars started falling apart long before 1980.

This is all very well, but you can't deny that he is a bitchy queen.

Did he not fuck you when you requested? R5. Is that the reason for your bitchy queen schtick?

R4- I always considered Ford cars inferior products compared to GM. The cars were not detuned for greater fuel economy but strictly for pollution control standards. 1972,1973, 1977 and 1978 were all record years for the US auto industry. The malaise then huge decline of the US auto industry began in earnest at the time of the second gasoline shortage and huge increase in fuel prices in 1979. In 1978 a gallon of unleaded regular was about 63 cents a gallon and by 1981 it was about $1.28 a gallon. That DESTROYED the US auto industry which was geared towards large albeit downsized big cars- but still considered too big and guzzling with gasoline at $1.28 a gallon.
