It is almost here. Tell us your scariest story!
I worked the hospital night shift for years. We'd had a really low census for almost two weeks. We also had a cold snap - coat and hat type weather. I was walking through one of the empty units to get to my destination and walked past a room with an open door. I saw three men, one sitting on an upturned trashcan, facing the other two sitting on the floor. I told them they needed to clear out NOW. They stood as one and started in my direction. I headed for the elevators so I could call security, and they followed me. I panicked and started running, and they gave chase. I rounded the corner and saw one of our security guards and yelled for him. The men turned around and headed in the other direction.
I'm normally not a coward, but three against one, in an abandoned unit with no lights or telephones was more than I cared to deal with that night!
