How can anyone say otherwise?
Montgomery Clift was the most attractive man ever!
by Anonymous | reply 52 | October 27, 2024 2:42 AM |
No. Not by a long shot.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | October 24, 2024 10:59 PM |
When very young, but he certainly did not age well even before the wreck
by Anonymous | reply 2 | October 24, 2024 11:02 PM |
Absolutely! The most beautiful man ever.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | October 24, 2024 11:05 PM |
Just off the top of my head Guy Madison
Hugh O'Brian
Stephen Boyd
Gregory Peck
Clint Walker
Brandon Routh
Paul Newman
but it's also one of those to each his own type things...If you think he is then he is for you.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | October 24, 2024 11:05 PM |
Hard disagree
by Anonymous | reply 5 | October 24, 2024 11:06 PM |
R4 - I'll add John Gavin to that list and a young Gary Cooper was hot AF.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | October 24, 2024 11:14 PM |
Super handsome but gave off a strangely asexual vibe.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | October 24, 2024 11:14 PM |
he had resting put out your cigarette on my ass face.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | October 24, 2024 11:15 PM |
He really was so good looking. He seemed so tragic.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | October 24, 2024 11:19 PM |
My mother, my aunts and their contemporaries swooned over his looks but Mom said the car accident did horrible damage and that his whole film presence changed.
I thought he looked like the Mitch Mercury puppet from SUPER CAR.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | October 24, 2024 11:26 PM |
Actually I never thought stills conveyed fully what was hot about him. His voice and his movements were sexy.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | October 24, 2024 11:27 PM |
Yes r12
by Anonymous | reply 13 | October 24, 2024 11:31 PM |
Because yours is a subjective assessment. He certainly was beautiful but there are others-
by Anonymous | reply 14 | October 24, 2024 11:33 PM |
Such a handsome little poppet - fuzzy too. Yum!
by Anonymous | reply 15 | October 24, 2024 11:44 PM |
R13, what do you think the similarities are?
by Anonymous | reply 16 | October 25, 2024 12:51 AM |
Neither will date me.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | October 25, 2024 1:40 AM |
Maybe the prominent eyebrows, r16, or the color overall - light white skin and black hair. I found him attractive enough in A PLACE IN THE SUN and even post-accident, but he wasn't as present.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | October 25, 2024 1:55 AM |
I don't see it.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | October 25, 2024 1:57 AM |
Monty was into being a cum dump in sex clubs. In a book his great friend Kevin McCarthy wrote about him he wrote about a time he and Monty were together, I believe it was in New York City. They got separated and Kevin went looking for him. Somehow to traced him to some gay adult establishment and when he got inside he eventually found Monty lying naked on the floor in a room with a group of men standing around him masturbating all over him.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | October 25, 2024 2:12 AM |
He sounds like fun! He knows how to keep a party going!
by Anonymous | reply 21 | October 25, 2024 2:13 AM |
Kevin McCarthy was an attractive guy
by Anonymous | reply 22 | October 25, 2024 2:20 AM |
Very pretty. Not my type at all. His self love was a big turn off as well.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | October 25, 2024 3:26 AM |
Yes, he was.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | October 25, 2024 3:34 AM |
R23, why self love?
by Anonymous | reply 25 | October 25, 2024 4:18 AM |
They really should have done a biopic of him starring Bomer.
They are both stunningly handsome men.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | October 25, 2024 4:29 AM |
R26, agreed
by Anonymous | reply 27 | October 25, 2024 9:16 PM |
We never got to see him without the rug.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | October 25, 2024 9:20 PM |
R28, he didn't wear one
by Anonymous | reply 29 | October 25, 2024 10:18 PM |
He wasn't Jack Jones hairy but very hairy as well.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | October 26, 2024 12:29 AM |
Hottest of them all was Alain Delon
by Anonymous | reply 32 | October 26, 2024 2:15 AM |
The Wrigleyville Cum Dump
by Anonymous | reply 33 | October 26, 2024 2:21 AM |
For looks alone I don't think anyone can beat Guy Madison.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | October 26, 2024 2:22 AM |
Tyrone Power may have been the most attractive man in films, but only for a very brief period, maybe 3-5 years at the very most. Thanks to his heavy drinking and chain smoking all day long, and rarely sleeping, he was already aging badly by the time he hit age 30.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | October 26, 2024 2:32 AM |
Guys like that are a dime a dozen in 2024.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | October 26, 2024 5:13 AM |
Tyrone Power was also one of the worst movie actors who ever lived, R35.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | October 26, 2024 12:43 PM |
Another vote for Gary Cooper here. To me, he was in a league of his own. (Maybe Alain Delon was in his league.) An extraordinarily sexy man when young, like you don't see this level of sex appeal just walking down the street. Monty Clift, I see those guys walking around in the world. Gary and Alain were otherworldly.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | October 26, 2024 1:11 PM |
Fucking racist fags
by Anonymous | reply 40 | October 26, 2024 1:18 PM |
He was certainly handsome but, as said, many many others. The list could go on and on.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | October 26, 2024 1:23 PM |
He was very sexualized, but in a femimine catlike way
by Anonymous | reply 42 | October 26, 2024 1:28 PM |
I hate how we are told about his sex life. I dont know what my neighbours get up to. they could be out dogging every night...or swinging...We have got to stop thinking a varied sexlife with fetishes are somehow illegal or nasty.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | October 26, 2024 3:00 PM |
Montgomery Clift was younger than Bomer is now when he died.
Yet, Bomer now looks at least 10 years younger than Clift at the time of his death.
It's so interesting to me that people in general looks so much younger and healthier today than they did 50 years ago or even 30 years ago.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | October 26, 2024 4:58 PM |
Gary Cooper was not only handsome, he was hung like a mule.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | October 26, 2024 5:10 PM |
Gary Cooper didn't age well, either
by Anonymous | reply 46 | October 26, 2024 5:25 PM |
A couple of men never mentioned:
George O'Brien
John Payne
Gilbert Roland

R44 Monty was a drinker and a smoker. It got much worse after his car crash in 1956 and he had reconstructive surgery to his face at age 35. He had felt unconquerable until then. Afterwards he was depressed and felt he was disfigured even though the nerve damage was less obvious to others than it was to him.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | October 26, 2024 7:02 PM |
Clift was a alcoholic long before the crash. New face:
by Anonymous | reply 49 | October 26, 2024 7:36 PM |
No. James Garner.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | October 26, 2024 8:36 PM |
R48 If only Montgomery Clift could have seen how Bud Cort's looks and career turned out after HIS car crash and reconstructive facial surgery, maybe he wouldn't have felt so depressed about his own results.

Am I the only one who salivates over Charlie Chaplin? All eras, including Limelight. Even his tramp character, I just it find so sexy.
