Sometimes I think Stokes, Audra, and Brian d’Arcy James are the only three star performers who aren’t constantly fucking around.

R10, it is true that Broadway musicals have become much more populated with straight men, a trend that goes back to the success of Jersey Boys. I think with the rise of conservatory programs like CCM, Michigan, and Carnegie-Mellon, straight guys have felt more comfortable doing musicals than back in the 80s and 90s, when most of the guys who played Marius in Les Miz and Chris in Miss Saigon were products of the Cameron Mackintosh “twink machine”.

Why are Broadway fans so convinced they had an affair? They were never seen together (outside of the show) and Sutton has a little kid at home, when would they find the time between that and 8 shows per week

R27, Sutton had a house an hour outside Manhattan, in Tuxedo Park. She sold it this year. She has a Manhattan apartment. If the kid & husband are in Tuxedo Park, and she's staying in Manhattan instead of going an hour to that house every night after The Music Man, her husband wouldn't know.

In addition, Jackman had use of an apartment on the UES off Madison Avenue. Both her apartment & that one are closer to the Winter Garden than the apartment Jackman was living in in Chelsea.

If non-famous people can carry on affairs without disturbing their family's lives, wealthy famous people with better resources can manage too.

R29 I mean if you're looking for sightings, I'd have to go back to what I was told then, but yeah, someone gave me actual dates in 2022 they were seen in restaurants together. The only recent thing I know is he went to see Once Upon A Mattress on August 21st. But more tangible proof? No.

As for the Page Six stories, they put up a video in December that made it crystal clear they had an affair. They removed it a short time later. Now Page Six has two exclusive stories which don't say an affair at all, barely alluding to it calling it a "connection."

That says to me they traded the removal of that video for these "exclusive" stories I mean everyone is always going on about how Jackman is friends with Rupert Murdoch. Maybe that came in handy in this case? That video most likely would have blown up this rumor last year instead of now when she can legally file for divorce.

Wait till she finds out Hugh is gay.

I've seen Foster in several Broadway shows and she always fades into the background. She's a chorus girl who got lucky.

I follow a photographer’s Instagram account and he captures Hugh walking alone in NYC on a fairly regular basis. I always thought Hugh alerted him when he would be out and about alone.

If they have been having an affair, they've handled it in a classy, non-tabloid way, and have been very private about it. Good for them. All the Hollywood tabloid romances/social media obsessions are ridiculous. Let people do what they want in private. They're actors. Who cares?

I have to admit I’m always tickled that Sutton Foster and Kelli O’Hara are purportedly such man-eaters. They seem like a couple of PTA moms from Sandy Springs, Georgia.

The Sutton/Kelli teaming at Carnegie Hall was a serious misfire. The Carol Burnett/Julie Andrews model completely failed because Carol and Julie had such. different styles that their chemistry was thrilling. Sutton and Kelli was like watching Sprite perform with 7 Up. And the song selection was poor.

Sutton & Kelli are simply not star personalities.

I felt like in the Music Man revival that Sutton was playing Marian like she was auditioning to play Harold Hill - she probably would have made a better Hill than Jackman.

Sutton and Gavin Creel doing a gender-flipped Harold and Marian would have probably been a really sweet Miscast concert segment. Creel would have sung Till There Was You and My White Knight beautifully.
