RON ELY AND HIS MASSIVE CHEST ARE DEAD TO ME!

Don't get on me about the Fox News link as his daughter reported the news to Fox digital and other outlets have yet to pick up on the news.

Now commence mourning.

Graham Norton will be so sad!

I love a man in a loincloth

by Anonymousreply 2October 23, 2024 6:50 PM

I thought he was dead long ago.

by Anonymousreply 3October 23, 2024 6:52 PM

Gorgeous man - looked great in his later years too - but don't know what year this pic is from

It was five years ago that his wife was stabbed to death by their son.

Well, he certainly was no Kevin Sorbo.

by Anonymousreply 7October 23, 2024 7:04 PM

Pinchy nips

by Anonymousreply 8October 23, 2024 7:15 PM

Had he mail-in hes absentee ballot for Dump already?

He only palyed Tarzan twice following hunky ex footballer Mike Henry

I was insanely in love with him when I was a horny teenager.

by Anonymousreply 12October 23, 2024 8:47 PM

Massive chest? He is svelte in today's context.

He was a mediocre Miss America host—only lasted a few years.

by Anonymousreply 14October 23, 2024 9:09 PM

R13, today's context is code for steroids. He had a nice naturally developed torso.

by Anonymousreply 15October 23, 2024 9:44 PM

And those huuuuuge dimples! Probably the only boy-next-door type to ever take on Tarzan.

RIP

by Anonymousreply 16October 23, 2024 10:00 PM

Definitely an early heartthrob for me.

by Anonymousreply 17October 23, 2024 10:19 PM

That's sad to hear. What a handsome man. He always was. 🙏

by Anonymousreply 18October 23, 2024 10:48 PM

Given this was old Hollywood, I often wonder if these Big men were putting out to get these roles.

by Anonymousreply 19October 23, 2024 11:40 PM

He was gorgeous.

Rest In Peace, Ron Ely.

by Anonymousreply 20October 23, 2024 11:40 PM

He had a hot ass, but he couldn't live forever

by Anonymousreply 21October 23, 2024 11:44 PM

Oh, yeah. Another guy I thought was dead already.

by Anonymousreply 22October 23, 2024 11:49 PM

Mike Henry was so much sexier and better looking.

by Anonymousreply 23October 23, 2024 11:51 PM

Oh, no! Who’ll save us from the river’s savage hippos!??? 😱

Him in his loincloth had my loins hot before I even knew what loins were...

by Anonymousreply 25October 24, 2024 12:17 AM

Under the loin cloth.

The New York Times article reports that he died more than three weeks ago, September 29.

by Anonymousreply 27October 24, 2024 12:34 AM

Ron and the daughters sued the police for not checking on the stabbed mom first by calling medics and shooting dead the son who was apparently not threatening them but holding his hands high in surrender. Then they let him bleed out in the driveway and refused to let medics attend to him.

Cops. No situation they can't make worse.

by Anonymousreply 28October 24, 2024 12:52 AM

R26 I like that hairy thigh too. Those he men from those days totally turn me on.

by Anonymousreply 29October 24, 2024 3:05 AM

Susan Dey is screaming the Call of the Wild. It's all she can do at the moment.

by Anonymousreply 30October 24, 2024 3:16 AM

His fame was before my time, but what a handsome man he was both in his youth and as a silver fox. His body type is what I prefer in a man. It’s become more rare to find men like that, but when you do, it’s like finding a treasure.

RIP Ron Ely.

by Anonymousreply 31October 24, 2024 4:34 AM

I rated Ely a B in his prime, but I will always prefer Mike Henry in a loincloth.

by Anonymousreply 32October 24, 2024 4:59 AM

Handsome man

[quote]He only played Tarzan twice following hunky ex footballer Mike Henry.

Wrong, Cheetah breath. He played Tarzan in a television series that ran for a couple of years, as noted at R33.

by Anonymousreply 34October 24, 2024 6:51 AM

Ron hosted the cheesy Name That Tune ripoff, Face the Music, for a couple of seasons in the early 1980s. He always seemed to be having fun leaning into the role of stereotypical game show host.

His teeth are so jacked, compared to today's celebrities.

by Anonymousreply 36October 24, 2024 7:38 AM

Ron Ely was one of my first TV crushes.

by Anonymousreply 37October 24, 2024 7:51 AM

very rare apparently ..

In the United States: Matricide is a rare crime,

accounting for less than 1–2% of all homicides where the victim and offender are known to be related.

by Anonymousreply 38October 24, 2024 9:25 AM

He had a beautiful lean muscled body, but a "massive chest" he did not have.

by Anonymousreply 39October 24, 2024 11:14 AM

He was gorgeous. He stirred my young gayling loins.

I had read that he slid into a massive depression after his son murdered his wife and never recovered from it. Such a sad ending.

by Anonymousreply 40October 24, 2024 11:16 AM

Has any one asked Moo Deng where it was at the time of his death?
