Teach us, mighty homosexual, the ways of your Christmas decorating and stuffing Santa’s sack.
When are you putting up your Christmas decor, homosexuals?

I never take them down.

Christmas week.

I will get my tree December 14, decorate December 15.

Anyone who puts up Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving should die in an egg nogg grease fire. It’s akin to wearing white after Labor Day in my gay book.

Whenever I fucking feel like it.

Probably shortly after Halloween. Maybe the second week of November.
Hopefully I'm in a festive mood after November 5.

It’s up now. For about 2 weeks.

R7 and r8 are both Mary’s.

Right this very minute.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | October 23, 2024 5:30 PM |
r9: both Mary's what, dear?
by Anonymous | reply 11 | October 23, 2024 5:31 PM |
Never. I don't own any Christmas decor. I put the Christmas cards I get (fewer every year, but I continue to send them) on the piano and that's it. And they get recycled before New Years.

Jehovah has instructed me to forever put away such notions as Christmas time gifts and gay apparel. Our high holiday is Christ’s death, and mankind’s triumph over sin. We don’t decorate for that, either.

December at the very earliest if I put them up at all.
Has anyone besides Technology Connections on YouTube purchased the Tru Tone lights? I want a string for my apartment balcony.

They go up about a week before Christmas. They come down on the feast of the Epiphany, January 6th.

I went for years without decorating for Christmas. December 2020 I was very depressed and all the Christmas parties and festivities were cancelled because of Covid. I ended up decorating out of boredom. Having my house all decorated and lit up, inside and out, helped ease up on feeling so sad. I've suffered a lot of loss in the past few months and will be recovering from major surgery and know I won't want to decorate but will force myself to do at least a little bit.

Usually post Thanksgiving. Mosy around drinking with football, and hope for the best with the decor.

Never.
I'm a Jew.

If you are going to put up Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving at least make it have The Night before Christmas type theme/vibe.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | October 23, 2024 7:29 PM |
My storage unit is a mess and I don’t have the courage to organize right now, so no decorating this year.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | October 23, 2024 7:33 PM |
Not until after Santa goes by in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Before that is blasphemy!
by Anonymous | reply 23 | October 23, 2024 7:36 PM |
I don’t put up decorations, I’M ALLLLLL MAN.

Ours are timed to the lighting of the tree in Rockefeller Center.

I'll put it up the Monday/Tuesday before Thanksgiving. We're having a small TG dinner with friends here on the day before and going to other friend's house on Thanksgiving Day. I will be ready to start enjoying Christmas decor the day after TG.
I'm not religious, just like decorating and celebrating holidays. I'll celebrate any holiday (within reason), I'm not picky.
